I am 8 or so miles from my local dealer, but made my purchase at a dealer 160 miles away. Still going to use my local dealer for service.Here in Texas we have MINI dealers in every major city, makes it easier to walk if you don't like the deal...

I have an update for myself and all Vermont-based MINI owners.

The Automaster near Burlington VT has officially announced that they are becoming a genuine MINI dealer, and will offer service, etc.

We just confirmed this over the phone. The deal is sealed and they already have a building selected for the new dealership.

Now it's just a matter of time. They said could take 3-6 mos.

So in a short time the distance to my dealer/service will now be only 44 miles!

It's 41 miles to the dealer I bought it from and 47 miles in the opposite direction to the next closest. However, that 47 mile dealer is only 14 miles from my job.

 

113 miles north to Nashville or 88 miles to Birmingham.

 

About 5 minutes from MINI of Monmouth. Before that I had to go to Princeton MINI, which was 45 minutes.

 

140 miles to the closest dealer, Bob Smith Mini in Calabasas, CA.
