They're already identifying and arresting a bunch of the rioters.

It wasn't just the Mini, they also burned an Acura, Audi, and a BMW in the video I saw. So sad, I don't understand people.

I just don't get it. You're upset because your team loses so you take out your anger and frustration by destroying someone else's car (someone who has nothing to do with your team's loss). Why not sacrifice your own car? Or one belonging to your beloved team and/or staff? And what's with all those morons being oh-so-extra-cool by having their picture taken with the flaming car in the background. Hopefully the cops will be able to identify those responsible for trashing the MINI and hold them accountable.

 

It would've been worse had they won.

 

The whole scene is nonsensical.

 

I feel sorry for all of those who had to endure the property damage, I feel sorry for the vehicles, especially the MINI, but I'm not going to give these "A-Holes" credibility by watching this video and give them one more "view" count!!

Sorry to say I watched it. Made me sick to my stomach. Between that and the puppy mill they raided this week near here, sorta wonder what's wrong with a lot of folks on this planet.

 

Love to have them here in Charlotte , and I promise we will not burn any Minis.

Best part is the idiots forget that all those video cameras guaranty their prosecution. HD images of your crimes go over great with the jury.

 

I live in Victoria and am in Vancouver for the weekend. We checked out the aftermath, there are a lot of boarded up windows! Really a black eye on the city, but the community is working together to ID rioters and bring them to justice. Volunteer cleanup crews were on scene the next day.

 

Definitely couldn't watch the whole thing....

 

it never ceases to amaze me how incredibly stupid people can be, and when that stupidity is compounded by that of multiple individuals, things like this are bound to happen. If people focused their energy and attention into more constructive, positive things, this world would be a much better place.

 

All I can say is WOW...

What goes thru a humans mind when they are trashing someone elses belongings...that they have worked hard to get.

There are websites and facebook groups dedicated to identifying idiots in photographs taken during the riots. It has led to some charges already, I'm told.

 

GOOD!!! They deserve the worst they can get!

 

If this was my Car, you can guarantee I'd be standing right next to it with my gun. Anyone who came within 10 feet of it would be warned, and anyone who did damage would be shot. Is this legal? no. Is this a bit extreme? Yes. Would they Deserve it? Every bit of it. Can you tell I'm still bitter over someone breaking out my window? Unless you can't read this, yes.
