I noticed a trend when it comes to waving. All the waves I've gotten have been males. Females most times don't even acknowledge you have a MINI. I know female MINI enthusiasts are definitely out there though, but haven't run into any yet. Also, I have yet to get a wave from a Clubman or Countryman.

 

I've noticed a strange trend with waves. Anyone else getting waves regularly from people on motorcycles? I've had more motorcyclists wave at me than MINI owners.

 

I haven't had this happen yet. Do you get the low motorcycle hand out "wave" or do they full out wave?

 

I got a nod from a vintage Beemer "R" sideback rider. To me, a nod is better than a wave on a bike. Keeping your hands on the grips while shifting through a turn in an intersection is wise.

 

Got a passenger wave from another Chili Red MINI today. Excellent!

 

Rare day two mini waves within 10 minutes of each other , of course my better half my wife was driving today . Flashing lights and a wave . My wife layed in on the horn a beep beep . Seeing more and more Coopers where I live in the bayou country of Louisiana .

I motor around in my Horizon Blue Clubbie, and I ALWAYS wave

 

I always wave. Oftentimes, I get waves. Once in awhile, I get weird looks. Occasionally, I get nothing. I chalk the nothings up to concentrating on the road. LOL

 

I always hope that the people who don't wave think about it and then wave to the next mini they see. Just maybe, I'm starting their new trend...

 

Most of the guys I wave at just look at me with an expression of why is this chick waving at me?!?

 

My wife and I were driving around a neighborhood yesterday looking at houses. She was driving her 2010 Sparkling Silver MCS and I had just installed checkered mirror caps so it's a bit more eye catching than before. On one street we got waved at by a little girl with a big grin on her face, and on another street we got waved at by a little boy that mouthed, "cool car!". We both waved back, of course!

I know they weren't MINI owners, but we're hoping in 10 years they will be. They seem to have good taste, after all.

 

So far, no wavers in the ATL :( Kinda sad

 

On top of always waving, I usually try and park next to any I see in a parking lot. I pulled in between two the other day, it was like a mini Mini meet

 

I do that, too ! Did they play well, together?

 

I flashed my lights and waved at a Chili Red MINI today. I didn't get a wave back, but I got a smile from the pretty girl who was driving!

The majority of the MINI drivers in OKC wave back. I got 3 for 3 last Friday and 2 for 2 yesterday.

 

I got one today from a red MCS on I-20 near Fort Worth.

 

Well mine not a good sport and doesn't play well with others

 

Got the peace sign from a convertible MC on the way back from Mcguire, it was nice

 

Well a smile is alot better than a wave or a flash unless it is a special flash

 

I was driving by a school yesterday and a young boy was walking with his father. When I passed by he pointed at my car with a giant grin on his face.

That made up for all the no-waves for the day
