It's a great combination.

You're just saying that to make me feel better. . . . THANKS!!

I found this thread because I've sort of considered painting my roof red. I have a Dark Silver Gen1 MCS with a white roof. I love the white, but red would be really striking. I can't find any pictures of a car done in this color combination either. I tried building one at miniusa.com so I can see what it would look like, but they've taken away the dark silver color for 2011!!!

Hmm, need to decide...
I vote for the red roof!! And mirrors!

Wow! That is awesome, and congratulations! I remember seeing your first posting of her, and I thought you had just photographed her in passing at a nearby dealer; I had no idea you brought her home. She's a beauty, and I'm really happy for you--what a great present for the holidays! And, good luck on that Tiki bar!

MORE PICS. (please!) As LadyG said a page or two back, I'm here for the ****

As much as I love my R53 (believe me, I have an unhealthy attachment to this car), one of the few that could tempt me to trade up is a red roof over black or PW.

Don't think I've seen one body color that is not complemented handsomely by the red. Just HOT! And JCW performance? : drooling :

Yep. I'm thinking of a license plate that says ZOINKS or JINKIES.

I actually had to have her shipped from Raleigh, NC, to my dealership. They had an EG/CR or a PW/CR. I placed the order for the EG, but Flow Mini was being recalcitrant about letting it go. They kept saying, "We're working a deal on it." I took another look at the Configurator and at Flow's site and realized that I really, really liked the PW/CR even more. "It looks like a racecar" were my exact words. I was sold. The only things the car didn't come with that I wanted were Adaptive Headlights and Rear Fog Lights. The EG/CR at Flow Mini had the fogs and no stripes. I could have taken or left the stripes. I miss the fogs, but am glad the '11s have the rear fog lenses with reverse light integrated, even if there is no foglight in them. At least it doesn't look like something is missing from the outside.

I didn't care about the Premium Package, as I really didn't want a sunroof, but this is what I got, so I'm happy with it.

Daphne is one hot Mystery Machine.

Hey, we need a grille badge for us Red Roof guys, what do you think? Also for the JCW too.

Phinzup: By the way, that Pepper White and Chili Red Roof looks awsome.

Well, I love the PW/CR, especially with the stripes. Daphne is way hot, and the license plate ideas are classic! LOL....love it. By the way, great story about how you ended up purchasing her. I know I'll like the EG/CR when I see it on the road, but I probably would have been drawn to the PW/CR myself.

Hemi, I have an idea for a badge that could represent us all, no matter our body color. I'm a designer, so I might be able to pull it off myself...let me try. ;o)

I could use a badge myself as well. My MINI, Carter, is going to be boarding a ship soon and hopefully be here by the end of the month
Carter specifics are in my sig, but he is a MB/CR just like hemi's Lil Guy

It's a MiniBee Build A Badge, and the magnetic insert badge I made myself on my vinyl plotter. It's an Imperial Cog. My wife and I are members of The Fighting 501st Legion.

phinzup: Thanks. The badge is really striking. I suspected it was a personal design, but I was thinking perhaps something related to the Star Wars movies in light of the Stormtrooper photo in your signature. The badge sort of reminds me of the Imperial republic symbol.

It is indeed the Imperial cog, symbol of the Empire.

I just noticed the link in your message . . . silly me

We are huge Star Wars fans at my house. My five year old has chosen to be the Evil Emperor for two Halloweens in a row now!

I have a 2006 red roofed MCS (Actually the whole car is Red). I was wondering if this qualifies me to be a part of your Club?

I made mention of Carter on a previous thread, but I wanted to be sure to compliment him here on the Red Roof site. What a great looking MINI Carter is!!! I hope you the enduring love for your time with Carter that I have had in my time with Mack (and seeing that Carter is a JCW's, it would be hard for me to imagine anything less). Enjoy...and what a terrific gift for the Holidays....whatever you may celebrate!

Looks rather familiar to me. Rather, well almost that is, except for the Mini Connect with NAV and no sunroof too. Looks great. Bit of advice, I went with 215x45x17 Michelin ICE and they are great. Also corrects the speedometer error too. Keep motoring.
