HELP - Big Mini S Problems

Had a mini accident and slide underneath an SUV. Need repair to hood, exhaust fan and radiator. Does anyone know the name of a reliable auto body repair shop in the Alexandria, VA or surrounding area?

Wow, apparently everyone ok ?

I would leave a post in the club forums for that area as well. May get some responses there too.

Hope it all works out for ya.

Thanks. It was just my son driving and he's fine. A semi-intoxicated person stopped dead in front of him and he was able to down shift to a slow crawl but it was too late and he slide underneath. Hood of car, radiator, cooling fan and whatever else is associated will need to be replaced. It's soooo expensive - lol. And guess who gets the honoring of paying...MOM. Again thanks for your input.

Shouldn't the offending driver be paying for this?

You should join DCMetroMinis.org, then post there. Many members have used Royal Auto Body in Sterling.

You'd have to prove that the other driver cut in front of him and then hit the brakes hard. If he was just driving along and slammed the brakes for no good reason, it's still your fault if you run into him.

States have many different contributory laws about responsibility, but I would wager it'd be hard to get the other driver to pay anything.

Mom I'm sorry you are going to have to make things right. But that is what Mom's do. Thank God you are only fixing a car & not nursing an injured son.

Good luck to you...

If you could prove that he was drunk (police report) and that he slammed on the brakes for no reason, you would probably have a case against the person.

Either take it up in Small Claims Court or call the offender's insurance company.

Good luck either way.
