My daughter said she saw a sign for a new Mini dealer in Wesley Chapel. I don't know if it would be listed as Tampa, New Tampa, North Tampa or Wesley Chapel. The area is known by all those names.
That would be great for me since it's only a few miles away vs going to Orlando for service. I won't go to Ferman even though it's closer than Orlando. I can only hope this new one will be a great dealer since it will be only 12-15 miles from me.
Does anyone have any more info?
I love my Mini dealer in Orlando, but hate the drive for service.

I cannot express how good this news is. I was just posting on another forum, inquiring on any reputable shops locally in Tampa, other than the Mini dealer in Largo, or Orlando. To know that you will be opening a shop in Wesley Chapel will serve a lot of people off the 75 coridor, that don't want to travel to Largo or Orlando.

Wanted to let you guys know we are breaking ground for MINI of Wesley Chapel on Saturday, Jan 22, at 9 am off on SR-56 next to Synovus Bank. Hope to be open in first half of 2011.

While I do not own a MINI... YET.......I look forward to having a MINI dealer in our area. I live a few minutes away, off of 54 & 56. It is also great to see another employer coming into our area.

Anybody from MINI of Wesley Chapel planning to be at MINIs on the Dragon in April? It's the largest annual MINI event in the US, and the Bay Area chapter of the Sunshine MINIs (specifically Snooter, and others like Minibee, etc) is the group that organizes the whole thing.

 

SOOO happy to have tripped over this thread! We have been trying to figure out who is opening this new dealership in our neighborhood! We service most of the dealerships in Wesley Chapel (and many other areas), and definately wanted to be there for the new Mini dealer!

Had a good Mini customer come in the other day for some more audio upgrades. He shared with me that the Morgan Group was opening this dealership and he was really excited.

I hope to get in touch with someone there soon. We do tons of aftermarket work already for all the local Mini owners in this area-and they are all excited about this new dealership. It stinks we missed the ground breaking event though :( MCOR has been there for almost every Wesley Chapel new car dealership for their ground breaking ceremonies and grand openings! Oh well, one out of two is better than none! Great news...

 

I have been so excited to see a new dealership opening much closer to me! The only hesitation I had about purchasing another MINI was the LONG drive for service. But why is it taking so long to complete construction??

 

Some structural steel was stolen from the property, and that delayed construction... Last I heard.

Should be open in March sometime.
