Gave it a good wash, and cleaned the paint with some Meguiars Ultimate Compound. It looks like a new car, I'm very pleased with the results!

I find it useful.

Thanks J&M'sMini, glad you noticed. Good luck with the blacking out, I think dechroming is a nice subtle way to make the car look more aggressive.

Goth, after consulting with Lyle, I went gloss black on everything except the belt line and I've had nothing but kudos. I went gloss to match the grill and it works. The belt line has non-gloss black rubber on the edges that won't get covered so I went satin there. I have lots of pics in my gallery if you want to look.

Vinyl

Decided to see what vinyl will look like. Trying to wrap my mind around the look. Cool thing is, if in a week I don't like it, just pull.

Picked up new upper windshield trim to fix the botched job the glass company did yesterday. Then he gets to go back to have it installed properly.

Since he didn't answer, many people 'shave' the rear wiper for looks. They like a very clean look on the car with nothing sticking out. Also, many people don't live in a place that sees a lot of rain, so can do without it.

Did you have any brake issues with your 2010 Clubbie? Thank goodness for the warranty!

Drove slowly and got average MPG to 31, then drove with gusto and watched it drop to 28.2. I had more fun in part 2.

I got to work today and discovered one of the centers of my JCW side skuttles got sucked off the car. Stopped at the dealer and paid $86 for another pair. I doublestick taped this one on and now have one waiting for the other to get sucked off. I also bought a set of spark plugs for it and installed a K&N air filter in it.

..with the door handles from A/C, there is nothing to change out, ..they literally "snap" over the existing handles...in seconds! ..no glue or double sided tape..

..I'm happy with them...was worth a lil wait.

..here's another pic...with my funhouse silly reflection self portait coming through..
