This is a R57 Highgate I'm modifying; the interior comes with all the possible chrome bits. The exterior has had all it's chrome deleted.
Yeah, I'm happy with how the leather dash came out...it's a custom wrap by a local shop. My car is swathed in dark brown, the wood lightens it up a bit.

Discovered the Ultimate flap mod for the JCW air box today. All the vac lines and pump Diaphragm are dried out and smoked anyways so now it breaths all the time freely.

Today I...

picked up my car from the 10k (ok, really 5k as I change it mid-way) oil change and check engine light standard dealer visit. It had been since Friday, as they also: replaced the MAF sensor, changed all the air filters (except engine air as the Dinan CAI was recently installed), replaced spark plugs, coolant flush, rear brakes and brake fluid change and a fuel injector cleaning. In addition, after all the engine work they saw a residual fault code that caused them to replace the Dinan elite unit. This is the fourth time they have determined that the Dinan is an issue, and I... honestly don't know what to make of it. I love what it does for this engine, but it's literally engine codes every 5k. Probably going to send some emails and determine if maybe it's just not meant to be with my Clubman.

Well after waiting g for a few days. My oil pressure valve came in. 30 seconds install an no more low oil pressure light.
So I was able to take my mini on a little drive. Put about 30 miles on her. The clutch feels great. Super smooth. Couldn't be happier.

bumper guard, phone mounts & company for Clubman

Not too exciting but my "modification" that arrived today (clubman still on the boat) was a bumper guard. I am forever loading and unloading and had been concerned about how long it would take before I scratched it up! I got it from MiniMania and if anyone else has one, I would appreciate your thoughts. I don't want to put it on there and have the guard pull up paint and don't want to put it on if not effective!
Last week got phone mount (equally exciting) from iBolt. Their products are fabulous and I can interchange to make it hold a tablet, phone, camera, book, by switching out the tops. etc. Not planning on reading and driving, but I hooked the suction cup to my kitchen counter and it was fabulous at holding tablet while reading a recipe. They also have the bottom that fits into your cup holder. Really exceptional company.

Wow, looks good. Curious to see what you notice as a difference. My only concern is that darn weak link in the factory manifold that is still present. That joint a few inches above the red line... That is where the manifold cracks into two if its going to crack.

Mine did... coming from Hondas, that was incredibly annoying to experience. Interesting sound, but deeply disappointing. Then found the replacement SS manifold, swap it and never looked back.

Let us know.

Went from this...

To this, slow day working from home...

Clay bar and waxing will be my April pre unofficial MOTD chore. The blue van is the mother in laws ramp van, somehow it’s in the fleet now and will be my winter beater, no more salt on the mini.

They are coming off for a proper cleaning during my spring cleaning. Sad part these eventually will be “winter” rims.

Bought it😊

I bought my Cooper S 5 door today.
Its not even in my driveway and I’ve already ordered a Magnaflow catback to go with a Eurotuned ECU as soon as possible.
