Go replace your cam sensor, those symptoms are characteristic of a cam sensor going out. Finally, cam sensors are cheap and really wear items anyway. Do that and then report back with updated symptoms. (If any)

Bought my second new mini in less than a month. The new one is a F55 MCS in lapisluxury blue. Wife decided she wanted one after letting her drive mine.

It was not always that way... Wife decided for the first time in 5 years that she wanted to park her car in the garage. I ended up having to clean the whole thing out, day one of her new mini ownership.

Installed the ALTA DV spring in the way motor works performance DV. The one that was in there appears to be the same as Oem, can't say for sure though.

I found a Rupert Neve Designs sticker, whom my car is named after. I cut the sticker to give Rupert a name tag.

What did you do to your mini today?

Lent my R53 and the F56 to my parents while I took they're Q5 and E class to diagnose some signs of age in the 115k mile E320. So far my diagnosis is, the E is really boring to drive, but it made the 4 hour drive feel like 30 min, and it wasn't driving, it was hovering, on a cloud, made of silk.

Pretty mundane. Had to vacuum and wipe down the interior surfaces. Windows are still clean.

Going out to the garage in a few minutes to check the tire pressures. Temperature ranges are all over the place. Daytime highs were in the upper 20s and lower 30s this weekend. Some nights we drop into the 20s or upper teens. This week we're gonna warm up again, so highs will head back to the 40s and 50s. We are in the last few hours of Fall, since astronomical Winter starts at 11:48 PM EST tonight, so our daylight hours start getting longer again here in the northern hemisphere.

On the brighter side, I can still volunteer to do errands in the Mini on dry days. No salt or sand on the roads yet. Doesn't look like we'll have snow before next week, so another few days of Mini errands are possible. We might get to 60 degrees on Thursday 24 December. A bit strange for Maine. If it doesn't rain, it'll be a top down errand day for sure!

Are those second gen lights on a first gen? I thought you wouldn't have reverse lights if swapped out.

Today I took Rupert over to the casino and made some money playing poker.

I believe they are first gen "Altezza" style lights. Pre-Facelift. My reverse light is in the bumper so it retains full functionality. The only thing I lost was the rear fog light.

Nice! Bavmotors on here has those, but I believe he just took them off. I like the look of them.

These were his. I just bought them. It was a cheaper alternative to buying a new OEM tail light. And I like the look as well. My Passenger side tail light was fogged pretty badly.

Oh! haha that's awesome. Glad they went to another NAM member. I think they go well with the rear window decal. Your Pikachu and Pokeball emblem also really makes me happy. I still have all my Pokemon cards.

Thanks! The emblems had fallen off before I bought it, so I made custom stickers to go there. On the front emblem is a Master Ball. I couldn't justify paying ~$40 for new emblems.
