I gave it a wash and it's first wax, then drove around my area to take some sunset pics. Will post later.

Aww, so sorry A week ago I misjudged a turn, my rear wheel went up on the concrete curb and my jack stop got knocked clean off. Turns out those things break all the time (lowest thing under the car). Ordered replacement (easy fix, fortunately) from outmotoring.com. Only $21 w/s&h...phew! But I know how you feel!

just installed the outmotoring beltline blackout and got a light-in-sight. the blacked out beltline makes the mini look a lot cleaner and with the light-in-sight i can finally see the lights change when im first in line.

top grill i got off, but not without a fight i think i broke a couple clips, the lower grill i taped off and sprayed. the great thing about plasti dip is that the over spray rubs right off with no effort. i did not sand the wheels but wish i had, because they look pretty crappy up close, but 5 feet away or rolling they look perfect gonna get them powder coated soon.

Glad to know that I wasn't the only dude man-handling the grill. The next free day that comes around, I'm going all in on the grill. BTW, I just plasti-dipped the gas cap and it was so FAIL-free. Wish more mods were like that. It definitely passed on the 5 ft test and close-up

Personally I like using actual spray paint when painting the trim. All the pieces are pretty easy to touch-up when removed from the car, and I've noticed that the plasti-dip chips and peels more quickly than paint. The deciding factor for me was that the plasti-dip is only flat black. I like having the trim look glossy to come close to matching the paint on the car.

Yesterday I installed my aFe Cold Air Intake, as well as the SprintBooster I got through Eurosport Design's awesome group buy.

I did the SB first and drove awhile. Huge improvement in throttle response and driveability. Gets the revs up faster coming back on throttle out of a corner, which means quicker exits not attainable by just mashing the throttle harder without the SB. Love it.

Tackled the CAI later in the afternoon and it was an easy install even as my first DIY project. Absolutely love it! When I hit 3800RPM the car roars to life and pulls harder than ever before. The sound is addicting, and with the SB it is easier than before to hit that sweet spot on the tach.

With these two new additions I feel like I'm driving an entirely different car. Great first performance mods. Just need an exhaust, lowering springs, M7 grilles, tint, and i'm done!

...maybe.
