Hey Lubbock! You going to MITM this year? Its too close to skip out on. Good to see you.

And Murph, love the "Right from the Heart" updates on my facebook. They are short and always inspiring reads to lift up my day. Everyone should go check it out! (scroll up to post 117)

MITM

Prob not. I've got my last final for this semester tomorrow and then I get to partake in summer school this year so I can graduate in December! So needless to say I'll be pretty busy as usual. I want to go REALLY bad. Maybe I'll get to next year since I won't be in school and will actually have an income lol. Are you going?

I am! I just took my last final this morning. I am taking summer school in June so that July and August are free to rally MTTS and MITM. When else am I going to get the chance? I just need to get my car ready for it. Im looking for sponsors currently. Its an interesting search...

haha nice! Well after you mentioned it and I started looking at their website. To tell the truth, the timing is perfect! Like you said, when else are you going to get the chance? I'm gonna talk to my gf and see if she wants to go. But if we do, maybe we can meet up at some point.

Hello NAMily,

My 21st birthday is coming up in a week and I wanted to do something different. Instead of buying me drinks, I would rather you help people who have never had a fresh drink of water in their lives. I have set up a site with the organization Charity Water where I am hoping to raise $5,000 dollars (the price for a well) to build a life giving resource somewhere in the world.

100% of the money goes to the building of the well. If the goal is reached, a plaque with my name will be placed on the well and I will receive GPS coordinates of it as well as pictures of the people that we are helping, which I will send to everyone who donates.

The smallest donation helps a lot. I am so blessed to be a part of the Mini Cooper family and am so fortunate to be in touch with all of you. If you feel called to, please join me in serving life saving water to people who need it.

Visit my birthday site to donate any amount.

Thanks so much and God Bless!

They have a link to, Blood:Water mission

Blood:Water Mission is able to fund 968 villages in Sub-Saharan Africa with clean drinking water! As part of the Well:Done Project, K-LOVE has partnered with Blood:Water Mission to provide 1,000 villages in Africa with clean drinking water. Blood:Water Mission is a ministry founded by the band Jars of Clay aimed at providing clean water and hope and healing to those suffering from HIV/AIDS in Africa. It began with the building an AIDS hospice, and after visits to Africa, Jars of Clay realized that many more people could be helped by having clean water to drink. As a result, the band set out to provide clean drinking water for 1,000 villages servicing over 500,000 people in sub Sahara Africa.

Thats AWESOME! Charity Water was founded by this guy who decided for his 31st birthday, that he wanted everyone at his party to just bring 20 bucks. 700 people came to his party and all the money went to wells. So then he started the site and people can do similar things like that. I just thought, since I am not into the whole drinking thing, for my 21st, I would get drinks for people who need them. (drinks of water that is).

So again, if you feel led, http://mycharitywater.org/MGis21

Thanks guys! God Bless

Glad to see this thread. Haven't been on NAM in a while. Good community stuff, as long as it's always respectful and is used as a force for good in the community at large. Encouraging each of us to be involved in making our communities better. Love it, God driven, aimed at the whole world.
BTW, I highly support the work of Blood:Water Mission. I've been friends with the guys in Jars for more than 10 years, and know the work their doing in Africa and even here, to be real and life-saving. Their well building initiative is making a HUGE difference in providing clean water to communities all over Africa. Blood:Water Mission RULES!!!!

I'm looking for a "Not Of This World" logo on a 3" circle suitable for using on a magnetic grill badge. Anybody know where I can get one?

@Beken I would make you one, but im sure that violates some copyright laws. Just ask Go Badges or Cooper Flags and im sure they can work it out.

@Dirt Welcome! I'm glad this thread keeps popping up. Lets keep this discussion up and keep glorifying God in the MINI world!

Aggie,

I read most of this thread and I'd like to make a suggestion for sticker if you do decide to do them.

"My driving isn't the only thing spirited"

Thought it might fit for ya'll.
