Hey everyone,

Recently I have been coming up with some great Christian bumper sticker ideas for my Mini and realized that maybe more people would enjoy them.

"Big God, Little Car"

"Motoring for Christ"

etc...


If we get enough people and ideas, maybe some motoring badges can be made.


Then I started thinking, "why dont we have a Christian Motoring Club?"

I know many of us out there are thankful to God for our great cars. I think it would be awesome if we had a thread or forum where we could share prayer requests if necessary, share stories/testimonies, and encourage our respective Mini clubs to do some more service related events. If anything, to help each other be better salt and light in our clubs and our lives.

The Mini community has blessed my life so much and I am sure it has for many others. I really want to give back and add to this amazing group of people united by a common interest. My hope is that we can be united by a greater and higher purpose so that the Mini community will both outwardly touch the lives of those who are not as fortunate to have our awesome cars, and inwardly be there for each other, as support in our individual times of need.

Whoever is interested can join. We are here for each other as a community of mini owners, and even bigger than that, as a community of God's handiwork.

Please post ideas or thoughts. This has been on my heart for a while and I am excited to see where this will lead.

I would join the group. I am part of a Christian group on Linked In also and I like the support. I hope you get some responses so you can put this together. Thanks for the effort.

Awesome. Maybe take some time and pray about what god needs to do with this club. Of course it's Christmas eve so focus on that and you're familes but I think this could be big. Spread the word in your respective clubs (the word of God AND about the club). Lol

Count my family in! With 2 Mini's and 3 drivers, we'd love a Christian Mini group. My dad's already a member of the Trailriders for Christ. They get together and ride their dirt bikes together. I also have a Sunday school teacher who's part of the Christian Wrestling Federation and they host matches and include bible studies with each match. Love the idea!

Aggiemini11, You might consider magnetic motoring badge instead of bumper stickers (on painted bumpers). Tex, Wife and I would support Motoring for Christ

 

I made some "fish" symbol magnetic badges for my MINI. Chili Red bg with a white fish.

Got the prayer request Aggie and will have all of the parties in my thoughts and prayers.

 

Oh of course. I just said bumper stickers out of generalities. So if i sent Cooperflags.com some ideas, do you think that we could get enough people to buy them? Do ya'll have some ideas? I have nothing to do till school starts so i can design away until then

 

I'll be honest. I probably won't buy a bumper sticker because I tend to be an aggressive driver. Not in a bad way, but I probably irritate people a little bit when I zip around them. But I love the ideas y'all have had!

What do y'all think about organizing a group on facebook so that all of the Mini owners on the various forums would have a central location? Someone would be in charge of updating the individual threads on each site but facebook and NAM could be the dual central location of this group/forum/thread.

How about we all post our favorite verse, passage, etc? Mine is Phil 4:6-7. What is yours?

 

That is very true. I took my christian fish off because I didnt want to give Christians a bad name when I zip by real fast. lol.

I like this idea. I will make one and link it to this thread.

 

I think this is a great idea. I'd join. Maybe you could start off with a Facebook Group, that is easy to put together.

Also a Grille badge that simply says Blessed would be great.

I would like to see some neato circular magnetic badge and/or a grill badge with some type of Christian logo, just with no cross or fish on it/them. I love the cross like any other Christian but I don't want to see it associated with anything other than Christianity itself. I would love a well done cross badge and a separate Christian MINI club badge to go along with it. I'm not artistic at all so I'm waiting for someone who has the right stuff to step up.

Thing is we need to show our "whole" lives as Christianity.

 

I am a graphic design student. Once the facebook group is up, I will makea thread devoted to badge designs. The only reason the group is taking a while is because i cant decide on a a logo. lol. It will be up within the hour.

This is very true. Christ should be in every aspect of our lives. Church isnt a sunday thing or even a building. Church is the body of Christ in which we all play a role, a fellowship of believers, a community of hope. This thread is church!
