Reviving an old thread.

The app was updated to 3.0 today. Description says they added all the 2013 VIN #s (finally ) but mine's still not working. Gonna double check that I have it right in the morning. Would be cool if this finally works for me

 

I tried it also and mine does not work either. I am sending a message to MINI again about it.

 

I emailed MINI again, they said they are working on it with no estimated timeframe for correction. This is their standard answer!

 

Yep, same type of reply I received 4-5 months ago. I'd say leave a negative review on iTunes but it really can't get much worse

 

At least they did an update recently- but it did not fix the problem. Maybe next time!

 

App updated today to 3.0.1.
"+ Fix to support certain 2013 VINs that were unsupported in 3.0. Sorry!"

My VIN seems to work now.

 

Mine is working as well! Finally!

 

Problem is now I'm seeing 5 MINIs parked in my garage, according to the app. I guess one for every time I loaded the app to try my VIN

 

Just for fun.... Though i may not be the first to do this....

 

Kind of cumbersome to use while trying to drive though, huh? Fun to look at though for awhile.
