Finance Director of MINI plant caught speeding
This is back from November, but I thought it was an interesting story considering everything involved. (Didn't see it in a search, so if there's already a thread, I sincerely apologize
)

For those who don't want to read the article...
The finance director for the MINI plant in Oxford was busted by a camera going 101mph in a MCS, then tried to claim it was his 19 year old son who was driving. In the end he admitted it was himself, got fined approximately $2500 and was suspended from driving for three months.
Personally, I think he got off easy. Twice the speed limit and gets a fine and three month suspension? I don't even want to think what an SC State Trooper would do to me if I was busted going twice the limit.

Well, I don't think that its that bad. I was caught doing double and a half, once. I was very lucky with that situation.
I don't like how he tried to blame it on his son. thats just not right.

There was a thread about this a while ago.
Anyway, do tell this double-and-a-half story. As long as you learn from it and we all know it's not a good idea to speed, this shouldn't get locked.
