Should I buy hood scoop from Palo Uber?

I heard so many bad reviews about Palo Uber customer service but same time many folks had purchased stuff from them and were very happy.

So are they good place to buy hood scoop or not? Quality, service, etc..

Thanks in advance!

Spinley,

I read so many post also but I went ahead and my item from them since they had what I wanted. The service was excellent, the item arrived as planned, got a discount, and to boot, got some extra goodies.

My take on the subject.

Cheers,
Roberto

I totally understand their hood scoops are very expensive but carbon fibre's are not cheap to begin with. My preference is M7 scoop but they no longer offer in CF. So next best looking scoop IMO are Palo Uber. Simply looking for scoop that has larger opening.

I'm worried about Uber's customer service & actual product upon delivery. Their scoops look awesome on their website, who knows how they will look once I open the box.

Go for the JCW CF scoop. Don't support PU.

For a carbon hood scoop, I would go the JCW route and look at Morristown mini (great prices). I plan to head that route.

Cheers,
Roberto

And the same posters failed for sale thread a few months later....

And of course the 2.5 happy customer thread....

If you read ALL THAT and still want to buy from them, at least you will have made an educated decision.

Thanks!

But they have 2.5 happy customers.

I have heard of ones of happy customers on this board and others.

I wouldn't buy a stick of gum from PU. All PU is is a marketing exercise that is going to part you from your hard earned $$.
The $$ to Satisfaction ratio is so low it can't be expressed in a number.
Just walk away.
If they hadn't paid their dues to be a sponsor I'm more than certain they would have been shown the door a long long time ago.

I reviewed both CF scoops in the review section. I had major trouble with PU's lugs, as well as related items (well chronicled on here); only the PU CF scoop was worthwhile, but even there I had to exchange it twice to get the damn PU signature sticker off of it (they improperly centered it not once, but twice, then eventually PU got the brilliant idea - probably from me - of offering a non-sticker version). Still the sentiments expressed in this (and other) thread(s) of NOT supporting PU in any way are worth considering. I would look for a used M7 CF scoop, as they sometimes pop-up for sale; I sold mine awhile back simply to raise cash to finance another mod (it was easier to sell here than the PU CF scoop, which should tell you something).
