With so much emphasis on twisties why can't MINI help put together something like that? Isn't this what motoring is all about?

Anyway the reason for the post is for MINI folk enjoy the information there's a few routes on there I didn't know about that look pretty fun.

No video, But late night (after 11pm) driving is what melows me out, no cars, no traffic only deer to watch out for.

 

My absolute favorite time to motor is after 2300 in autumn. Here in Colorado you can find some great foothills roads and drive for hours in the crisp evening. In fall you can roll for hours up and down through the front range and up until early Dec. you don't have to worry too much about foraging wildlife.

Holy crap, that video was simply amazing...I love it. My new favorite car ad.

The best night driving I've done was at around 3-4am, the roads in my town are empty then, but not as empty as Christmas day. It is crazy to see everything, and I mean everything deserted and empty.

 

Just got back from an evening tour, took the normal roads out into farm country, then setup the GPS to take me the zig-zag way back (which also means no traffic in farm country).

Started out just going to fill up the tank, 100 miles later I enjoyed a wonderful night drive, the art of the city buildings amongst broken clouds and moonlight mixed with the Getrag 6-speed sympthony.

Just finished tearing up my late night route. It's about three miles long and includes tight down hill left's into tight rights,.. you get the idea. A few long sweeper's where lift throttle oversteer is a great joy. Uphill sweepers where lift throttle oversteer is scary as hell. all of this run take place on the Hudson river just north of Newburgh New York. This road is where doctors, lawyers, ceo's and other people that have ungodly money reside. The houses are phenominal, but I take more joy in flying through there with my loud a$$ MINI cooper. The rich should'nt rest anyways ! I stop at a Mobile gas station to get my grape Jolt cola put a few more quarters in and do it one more time. Hope you enjoyed my story as much I did.
