And in those shoes, I would give them one last chance and tell them I am doing so..."If it doesn't arrive by xxxxx, then I will dispute the charge with Mastercard" or whatever. They done deserve the sale if they can't give you status.

I never said that YOU, specifically, were flaming.

To be honest, I don't see how you read that I accused you of flaming or that your wish for vendor communication was considered a flame. Personally, I don't see how the need for communication is a bad thing.

As you can see from what you've quoted from me (see below for a copy) that I was just explaining why some folks may not have gotten communication from these vendors. Once an order has shipped, they have no idea that their customers have received them.

Again, I don't see how this quote can be read as me accusing you of flaming.

Ok, I'm still waiting for my badges and it's almost been a month. How long does it take to put a vinyl on a magnet and put it in the envelope you've already got shipping info on and put it in the mail??

I ordered a batch of 6 badges from Todd last year and I was shorted one badge. He sent a note in the envelope that he would send it later. I have sent about 3 or 4 emails in the past year asking where the badge is...and I get no response back. Kinda poor customer relations if ya ask me.

And AMAZINGLY, still NO reponse from any of these vendors. If I ran this site, I would have them, and any reference to them, removed.

I just ordered totally custom car magnets for my daughter's swim team from an internet vendor and I got an email back immediately clarifying some issues on the artwork and telling me that they would be printed and ready to ship in 10 days. What's more, these are 5 and quarter inch magnets and they only cost $1.90 each (in 100 quantities).

MiniSwag on the other hand has had my order for off-the-shelf badges for 7 weeks, has charged my CC, has made multiple promises of delivery, shows my order as shipped on their web site, has not delivered my order and has not answered an email in the last 5 weeks.

I agree, they should not be allowed to promote themselves on this web site.

Um, didn't you recieve your badge from motoringbadges (as you posted earlier?)

A lot of us are very quick to complain about poor service (which is our right) but we very rarely post the good news too.

It seems here that motoringbadges is getting several good reviews along with a couple poor ones, and miniswag is getting multiple poor reviews.

Again, this is why we need a vendor rating system, with the ability to leave reviews, and the ability to add vendors.

I also ordered some badges from Motorswag/Miniswag on Sept 13. Surprise, surprise ... all most a month later and still no badges. I can understand a sight delay, low quanities of inventory, even being swapped with orders and trying to keep up. What upsets me is the total lack of communnication from the vendor. I have sent 3 emails asking for an update, with no reponse at all. Very disappointing!!!!

This is the first unpleasant experiance I have encountered with a vendor I found on NAM, (and trust me I am a shopper ).
I think a vendor rating system would be a great idea. It might save some one
else from having to endure this frustation in the future. I think I will PM Mark to see if this could be an option.

Thanks of letting me vent

I ordered badges from Motoringswag in early June when Jeff was just starting the venture into badges so I was willing to grant him some slack. One badge arrived in July. However, I live in Canada so Jeff emailed me when he mailed it and the mailing took about 2 weeks. The second one, Jeff held back due to poor quality. Unfortunately, I did not receive the second one until late September. That's almost 4 months from when I ordered them. I had already expressed my frustration to Jeff via an email, but after a look at the postmark and I found he had actually mailed the badge in July. So I would suggest Motorswag badges get their shipping act together.

Having said that, the badges are of good quality. I love the R53 badge.

My first badge was when I ordered the holder from Outmotoring. I would say their service was very good. However Outmotoring's selection is limited.

I haven't tried motoringbadges yet.

HOWEVER, I might suggest that since the badges are magnetic, is it possible that the shipper (post office, UPS etc) takes them as it messes up their scanning machines?

I ordered a couple badges from Kewl Auto Art and though there was a 1 week delay in shipping it was communicated well. I received an email stating he had one of the badges in stock but the other was recently reordered and he expected delivery within a week. Today received email that the order shipped. Good service deserves to be recognized.

BTW still waiting on Motorswag badges.

Maybe they just don't care because it's just their side business...

I too received the badge holder, but not the badge that I ordered. Backorders are understandable, but there was no explanation on the packing slip and Motorswag isn't returning my calls.

They won't get any more of my money.

Oh I can beat that one.

My order was placed with Motorswag........June 21st.
It's not a lot of money so I can laugh.

Guess I learned about being ripped off. Never thought a NAM vendor would do that. Live & learn.

All of the other vendors on here that I've done business with have been great.

Do not order from Motorswag. They will take your order and your money. A month after you order they will post about brand new designs but still not deliver old ones. He will e-mail you about how busy he is with all his famous movie stars but still no delivery. He will plead with you about his dog problems and ask for patience. He will tell you about hiring new people to take care of past shipping problems yet after about 3 months still no delivery. Ether he is totally incompetent or just a thief. I also saw he is trying to unload his so called business. Buyer beware.

And our club just got a whole big batch of badges and decals from him with no problems. If he were a thief, I doubt he would have shipped me my goods - ever. But no question, he's had some issues with timely delivery.
