Redwood Red interior?

Does anyone have any pictures of the Redwood Red leather? On some pictures it looks more red and some it looks more on the brown side. If anyone has any pics or has seen it in person, please let me know.

thanks.

I've seen it in person several times, and it's more of a rust or cinnamon color. Definitely not "RED" red, but also more of a red or orange flavor than, say, an average baseball glove. It's very nice, and looks great with some of the paint colors.

Thanks, I was thinking about doing it with the British Racing Green.

Well, check it out in person before you do any ordering, but the Redwood Red interior would be pretty sweet in the BRG, imo. Like I said, see it for yourself. You may or may not agree with me.

I've seen it in person at least 3 or 4 times. It turned me off of buying one car on the lot at my dealer, an Astro Black MCS. It was just too strong a color contrast. It's not red, but it certainly is not brown either. It's more of a "rusty orange" color. Totally turned me off the car I was looking at, but that's just me. I don't imagine they would produce that color if a lot of people didn't like it. You might be one of them. You'll have to see it for yourself. Please do before committing!

Good luck!

If you're talking about "Redwood Lounge", I have it in my new '07 MCS.

There's a picture of the interior in this thread - click on the thumbnail to open it.

Thanks Hogtied...that's much more orange than I thought it would be. I thought it would be more brown, at least that's the way it looked on the mini website.

Anyone else have any pictures of the redwood lounge? My local dealer didn't have any on the lot with that color, so it will be tough to see it in person.

The photo above was taken just prior to sunset, so perhaps that's where you see a hint of orange (I don't see it, but then I see the car every day).

Here's a couple more.. which - to me - look more "red" than what I see the interior actually looking like.

This is about the best pic I've got. It's not mine (with my tint, it's really hard to get a good pic of the interior). Dave Bunting put it in the R56 review when he went to Arizona. I PS'ed in the anthracite posts when I was trying to envision the different combinations. It's the best pic out there showing the "true" color IMO.

I love it with Dark Silver. There's pics of a BRG car on MINI2 with Redwood Red. I like it.

I've seen it on a sparkling silver sidewalk cabrio-the lighter colors bring out the red IMHO but I think a darker color-like BRG will bring out the brown tones. I think that would be a great combo!
