Can someone definitely tell me which brand and grade transmission oil would work in our manual JCWs?

I've heard that redline offers one, but it's only for automatics, and then I had read that we should go to Toyota and buy their Type IV transmission fluid, but that was just 1 guy talking, so if anyone could help me out, that'd be great!

Redline offers their MTL for your trans and I would say almost everyone uses it.

2qts for all S and JCW. 1.8qts in all Coopers.

 

Hence why I said about.

 

This is wrong too then as you state 1.8 in all coopers. Are JCW's and S's not coopers? You meant in Justa's. LOL

 

Timwu13: did you go with redline synth Man. Trans fluid? how do you like it?
I have a 2010 JCW I want to change my 'lifetime' trans fluid on.

Was the flush easy enough to do?
