Very nice color combinations. Its too bold for me to have as my car but boy does that look good. Wish I could have decided to do such color combinations. I just did not want too much of a conversation piece. Man that looks good.
In response to some questions: I had the brake intakes removed and painted chili red by the body shop at Vista Mini. I also had the little round dot that covers the tow hitch painted red as well. The combination of those along with the sports stripes - to me, anyway - really helps to pull out the red color line aspect and makes the car stand out more.
The interior is likewise a mixture or red and black, although it looks like that's pretty common for JCW's. Champion leather with red stitching, rooster red color line with piano black trim, etc.
Thanks for all the nice comments. I put a lot of thought and angst into this multi color customization, so I'm very happy to hear that some other people think it looks good.
Now I need to install a built-in radar detector…
(I have other pictures, but I can't seem to post them from my iPad - this forum keeps renaming every photo I upload to "image.jpg" and then telling me I already uploaded one by that name. Next time I'm at an actual computer, I'll add some more photos to this thread.)
Very nice. My 2009 fJCW is exact opposite of yours. What is black on your car is red on mine (excepting the wheels) including mirrors/roof and viper stripes on hood/roof/boot. Love the black headlamp housing.
Yeah, we're now a 2 JCW household. No, the coupe doesn't have the red air ducts or the red-lined tires. In most other respects, however, it's very close. One of our friends says they're fraternal twins.
Stunning!!
I'm cruising these JCW forums because I am having a 2010 Chili Red fJCW shipped out from Illinois to probably buy, unless it is SNAD by CarMax.
I currently have a 2006 MCS that I adore. This would be a significant upgrade I am thinking.
