17" Black Cross Spoke Challenge Wheels...

It looks like these wheels are available for 2013 (2PX). Does anyone know if there is an additional charge for these?

Thanks in advance.

Don't know cause I got mine "previously owned", but that's what are on my Chile Red JCW and they look pretty awsome with the black top/mirrors. Easy to keep (looking) clean. Tip: I spray them with a light coat of Armor All and wipe them down after each wash and that gives them just the right "satin" kind of finish I like.

Hey geco, can you share any pictures? I have a call into the dealer to see if they can find out if there is an additional charge for these.I really want black wheels this time. The brake dust is just too much work.

Woo Hoo, great news! What colors and options did you order? I'm leaning towards the PW/CR. Since the online configurator won't let you add those wheels, did you just tell them you wanted the (2PX) wheel option?

Thanks for your reply!

Greg

Beautiful!!! I'll assume that's a 2012. Couple of questions. Now that you have lived with it for awhile, do you still love the color combo? What about the wheels, are you happy with them? Any options you wish you had not gotten, or wish you had?

Thanks for sharing!

Hey geco, thanks for the pics. Love the cross drilled and slotted rotors! I'm still building my 2013 JCW. Will find out in the next few days if MINI is buying back my 2008 "S". If they do, and their offer is acceptable, I will order asap.

Thanks again,

Greg

I'm thrilled with my choices, to be honest. My only regret is getting the HK sound system since I also went ahead with the Integral Audio Soundstage upgrade. Other than that, It's got most of the major options except the sun roof which I definitely did not want again.

I'm happy with the wheels as well, silver would be a nightmare to keep clean, ha.

Spring for adaptive headlights if you can, they are wonderful. I am one of the few who appears to like the nav, too. It's integrated nicely IMHO. I went back and forth on the comfort access but opted not to go with it and haven't really been saddened about that. The PDC is pretty much useless but it was part of the Tech Package.

Hey drex, since I'm still torn between the grey or pepper and chili roof, what made you decide on the grey?

I only wish you could get the adaptive headlights with the black headlight housings :(

SuperGreg, where are you seeing that these are available? The builder no longer has them and when I asked my dealer they said the wheels only come in silver. Is 2PX the part number? I really want to order these wheels for my JCW Coupe when my dealer lets me put in an order for a 2013.

Thanks.

The online configurator doesn't show it. Here's a copy of the official order guide.

Notice the 2PX order number in the lower left section.

I wish mine were Eclipse Gray after a Loaner 12 S I drove last week was that color - stunning and easy to keep clean - looked like a race car with the black wheels too

But if they are a no cost option, then pretty much worth it right?

Looks like this is a more popular color combination than I thought.

I was also told that they only come in silver. Damn, I just got my car and the only thing about it I don't like is the silver wheels.
