Recommended day 1 install options

Hey all,

My JCW clubbie just entered production and I am gathering a list of parts that I should get to put on day 1. I want parts that are preventative in nature mostly. I have already purchased the BSH catch can. Are there any other parts you guys can think of that had you the chance to do it over again, you would put on day 1?

1.Water/meth injection prevents carbon build up
2.Forge/Helix Intercooler prevents heatsoak
3.Ecu tune prevents camrys and hyundais beating you from a redlight
4.Koni yellow shocks with Nm springs prevents crap ride and improves handling vs oem mini set up
5.Non runflat tires prevents crap ride of oem runflats and improves handling

doesn't the OCC eliminate carbon build up anyway?

So if I get meth injection, is there a point to getting the OCC?

The OCC is supposed to help with carbon build-up; it will not eliminate it. The water/meth kit is also debatable, but in theory, seems to be the best way to go; however, more expensive. If you get the water/meth kit and don't get the OCC, you will still have the blow-by recirculating, it's just that the water/meth will keep the valves clean. In other words, it still might be useful for you even if you get the meth kit. There is also a theory that driving it harder -- a redline a day, keeps the carbon away -- will help reduce carbon build-up.

Does a water/meth kit screw with the factory warranty at all? What about the catch can?

Have had zero issues with dealer about water/meth kit.Dealer told me they wished everyone with a mini would install water/meth because it cuts down on warranty claims for carbon.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one. Should I go Aquamist? Is it worth it over the cost of the AEM kit?

Did you spring for the flowmeter? Wondering if that's worth it....

One more question to pick your brain, if you don't mind...would I need a tune if I install this on an otherwise factory JCW? Would it be too rich?
