New BRG JCW

Like a few other people here, I couldn't wait for the 2011 models, so I went ahead and ordered a 2010 JCW. I finally picked it up on Monday!

The details:
British Racing Green / Black
Black Bonnet Stripes
White Turn Signals
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
Xenon Headlights
Rear Fog Lights
Leatherette Seats
Piano Black Interior Surface
Dark Grey Color Line
Bluetooth and USB/iPod Adapter
JCW Aero Kit
JCW Leather Steering Wheel

I still wonder if I should have added the Invisishield on the bumper, but I suppose I can do that soon.

Here are some pictures...

Very nice, I thought about going with the BRG/Combo but ended up going with the Dark Silver/Black. Should be picking it up today.

Edit: Your list says White Turn Signals, but they don't look white from the photos?

The pictures aren't the greatest. I think its more with how the light is hitting the car than being the wrong ones.

Here's one of the back...

Though I recognized the green as a classic "english" color, it never really grew on me.

Now that I'm on my 4th mini, it's one of the top 3 colors I like.

GREAT CAR!

Love that color! I get chips to but not on the bumper for some reason. My wheels get chipped really easily, the front pillars, the bonnet way up near the windshield but not a scratch on the bumpers.

Really looks nice. For myself, I never thought that I'd ever think about any Green, but the BRG greens, really aren't bad. I've seen the new BRG ll Green, and with the Christmas Chili Red roof and mirrors and just think that's what I'm going to have to have. JCW's are pretty rare anyway, and in BRG, or BRG ll, that'll make it really rare.

Also with yours, I like the JCW Aero package. I can't go that route yet, and I still wonder what they are doing with the rear fogs, beings as they are so different in the 2011 models. What makes it difficult is, that the back up lights are in the rear fog lights this year. So, how do they work that in the Aero package? No back up lights? Whatever, I'll just live without the Aero, at least for a while.

Scot,

Coming from a bodyshop person and someone who is **** as hell, absolutely, get the bra. In fact, I would go so far as to pull the stripes off the hood, put the bra on and replace the stripes.

I promise you in a few years, you'll thank everyone for pushing you to get the bra.

The problem isn't the one or two stone chips you may get, it's the "peppered" white'ish coloring left from all the chips. (much like looking at a windshield from the inside in the sun and you can see how the windshield has a bazillion little chips)

I can't tell you how many times I've had customers come in and we had to paint their hood for some reason.... then all of a sudden, they see how the fenders look like crap compared to their new painted hood.

My .02 worth.....

Mark

Yours looks really great. I jusst wish that I could get that JCW Aero package though. Still would like to know what the difference between the 2010 and the 2011 JCW Aero package is, especially in the rear.

Hey Mike, I noticed you have a carbon fiber hood scoop. It looks nice. I wonder, though, if you changed it due to warping and I read a post here in NAM that carbon fiber hood scoop tend not to warp. My standard hood scoop just warped and wondering if I should get a carbon fiber hood scoop...
