I was wondering if anybody could help me out.

What I'm after is the part number for the WC50 bonnet stripes.

Coming back to work after Christmas, feeling a little down, and full of cold. I had a very minor bump. (I basically touched the car in front). Anyway the car is now in the dealers getting repaired. Minor damage.

It appears I have scratched the leading edge of the bonnet. They want to respray, however I have had a phone call from the dealer saying the stripes are none standard. I've stressed that its a WC50 etc etc, but he is saying they don't have the stripes on there system. He is contacting MINI in the mean time.

Just thought it might be worth an ask, has anybody replaced the bonnet stripes? If so do you have a part number?

 

I don't have a part number, but when my WC50 was resprayed by a doofus shop (they weren't supposed to) - my dealership had to go to the UK to get the stripes. Make sure they know the paint code is GN18; it's on the color tag under the bonnet.

Called the dealer. Fingers crossed....

 

I have a drivers side stripe in my garage. I ordered the two that were in stock in the US when I had to have it replaced when a rock hit the stripe, tore through it, dented and chipped the paint. Touch spray, PDR, and new stripe.

At the time I was told the signed stripe was only available in Germany.

 

Any WC50 owners planning to attend a national or regional events this year? I am considering MTTS and possibly MoT. Rooms for MotD are scarce and not planning for that one.

Would be great if we could coordinate another WC50 G2G around one of these events...

 

Maybe part of MTTS. Also really like MITM. Depends on schedules.

 

Hoping to do MTTS and Blue Ridge Parkway.

Thank you! I haven't yet decided what I plan to do with this John Cooper signature but was thinking about making a big signature across my hood or rear quarter panels. I have a solid pepper white cooper so I thought it would look kind of cool to have his signature displayed somewhere other than inside on the carbon fiber dash piece.
