I joined the club!

This is my first post, but I've been lurking for a while. I want to say hi and share that I just picked up a 2010 JCW. This car is a blast to drive!

Welcome - nice looking JCW. Really like the r/b combo. Going to put on any stripes?

Very nice, you should be able to get some good pictures this weekend and some great miles.

Tell us more about your JCW, new/used, what dealer, your plans for mods, if any.

Thanks. I'm not a fan of stripes, so I'll just keep it the way it is.

It's a new 2010 with premium package, xenons, ipod/bluetooth, and leatherette seats. I was planning to order a 2011 MCS, but I had my dealer search for a minimally-optioned JCW with premium package (to take advantage of the free package offer from Mini). This car had all the options I wanted and was sitting in port. With the free premium package, the cost difference between a factory-ordered 2011 MCS and this JCW wasn't as bad as it could've been.

Only mod so far is window tint. Putting limo tint on the sunroof definitely helps cut down the heat. No other plans for mods at the moment. Just want to enjoy the car as is.

Nice deal, and good idea on the sunroof window tint, I had my sunrooof tinted to the max 5% and ordered a Zippe shade for the sunroof also. Congrats, motor on and have fun.

congrats!!!

I got mine from Long Beach.

You're gonna have to do something about the front license plate. I got sooooo many tickets for not having it (around UCLA). I had to custom make a tow hook frame.
