Was on miniusa.com to configure a car, which I like to do time to time. Never know, might order one at some point. Anyway, I'm not seeing the Harmon Kardon radio on any configuration for any model, even on the Iconic trim package. Did they stop offering that as an option altogether? Just curious....

 

Its under the "trim" options. Look at the "see all standard feature" at the bottom.
I picked a JCW for example.

What a mess. I noticed no alarm option. No sunroof delete. I luckily got the '22 car I ordered in August in Dec'21. I have noticed that the used car market is tanking. Maybe the buyers of new cars will be able enjoy a buyer's market again. But who knows.

 

Yea, I noticed no alarm as well. I missed the H/K radio yesterday, cause it was bundled in the Iconic trim package. Did you notice that as of last night, the manual transmission is an option again?

 

With the DTC Auto, I will pass on the manual.

They also added two new colors, Melting Silver Metallic and Nanuq White Metallic.

Well. My car is already being built so that was a kick in the teeth.

 

You could order another one if you would really rather another color.

 

The recent major changes in options came as a big surprise especially occurring mid-MY (also including the reappearance of piano black trim). Since my F56 S was already set for production, sadly I missed out on the added options. Many other option changes occurred earlier as well. I ordered weeks ago upon hearing HK and the 6 speed (Hooray!!!) among other options were finally back fearing they might disappear again. I had given up on the 6 speed ever returning. Challenging, uncertain times.

 

H/K wasnt an option when I got my 2022 F56 because of the chip shortage. It was listed on the site but I got an automatic $500 credit because it wasnt available.

 

If you dont have H/K i would just go with Bavsound or something else. Sucks they did not have it for a short time as its sound fantastic, that heated seats, and LED headlights are a must for me.

 

I submitted an order for a JCW 2dr hardtop (250$ refundable) and on the order sheet there was a 150$ credit for missing h/k. I felt it was worth more than that but I can negotiate later.

To address another poster you can get a sunroof delete if you order at the dealer.

Are you going to upgrade the base speaker system down the road?

 

TBH I'd have to wait and see how I feel about the base sound. There's a lot of mods I'm considering but I want to see how the base car feels. Fingers crossed it is built soon.
