Dealer Oil Change

I have an appointment to take my 19 in for it's 30,000 oil change. The car is still under warranty although I'm the 2nd owner. I know it's not a free oil change but was wondering what to exspect.
I'm taking it to Flow Mini in WS, NC which has some iffy ratings but short of a 100 mile drive that is my option.
Any particular questions I should ask?
Do they automatically update software?
Anything I should NOT let them do?
Got a guess on the cost?

Thanks in advance.

Mini covers recommended scheduled maintenance for up to 3 years or 36,000 miles. So, it should be free for you. Dealer price for oil service is around $130 in my area. I had a coupon last time and paid $70 about a month ago.

The software is not updated unless there is an issues that requires it. Depending on when it was done last a coolant flush and brake fluid flush may be recommended.

They might suggest a tire rotation. It's not free but might be a good thing to do.

First and foremost, ask what it's going to cost.

In my experience, they will change your oil, inspect the car for mechanical issues in an effort to sell you more shop services, wash it, and do nothing else.

Do not agree to any other services including tire rotation without asking the cost. Mini dealer service is typically expensive, and their prices are often easy to beat.

IIRC when I took ours in while under warranty everything was covered.
Front brake pads replaced, oil change, cabin filters, wiper blades if bad.

Just ask to be sure when appt. is made.
