Piano black belt line trim pieces now available from MINI

I think the complete kit is around $492...an option that should have been available the second they started offering piano black door handles, gas caps, headlight surrounds, F&R badges, and black grill trim. Welp, there goes another car payment:

Before MINI took 50 years to come out with this kit to cover the gaudiness of a silver beltline I was forced to get a 3M heat wrap....Now all that's left are these door handles.

What is the deal with that. Are there aftermarket door handles in black/ color matched to your vehicle?

Haha, yes I ordered the 'port installed' black door handles, gas cap, and badges to match the rest of the black trim on the JCW.

They dont update as fast as we do and then when they place the order they might email you back saying sorry or they will just eat the cost and then update right after,. MINI updates price every month at the beginning of the month.

I am here if you have any questions as I have been an owner since 2004.

If you say so? I placed my order and that’s the price straight up. The dealership emailed me to confirm and then the parts manager told me I was the first to order this and when I asked him about price increase he mentioned “nope, MiniUSA has his dealership at that price”. I guess your doing a bang up job since 2004.... continue your success.
trim comes this Thursday via UPS. Enjoy, Jose

Yep, they do. The prices are updated at the beginning of the month, that's cost of course so they can sell it at near cost or whatever they want retail on their site. I seen some places sell below cost just to get rid of items on the shelf or just get some orders,

Also we price match for people as long as its close and not an error on their site.

Also we have lifetime replacement on these Now. https://www.ecstuning.com/LifetimeReplacement/

MINI Dealers dont do that, if something goes wrong (life Fade or one falls off) on it after 2 years they will tell you to buy another set and sorry no refund or credit.

I told my dealer about these parts today when I picked up my new JCW, and they were so excited they ordered 10 sets! They hadn't heard about these trim pieces from their dealer network yet, and thanked me profusely for providing them the info! Thanks again to the MINI Vlog!

Part number for door handles/ gas cap por favor. I know it'll be rather pricey to get those (especially door handles) individually wrapped. I currently have a cover for the gas cap but over time it has faded and started to look miserable.

Appreciate the help. Thanks!

Me too, I missed the option for the black gas cap though, and now am having the dealer install that.
