I'm hoping someone here has a 2020 Mini Cooper S (F56) that has gotten the JCW Tuning Kit installed, part number is 18302475191. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...m/18302475191/

We're getting a lot of differing and confusing statements from the dealership on what is and isn't included in this kit. First the ECS Tuning part shows that this includes badging, a certificate, engine cover plaque, an engine remap, and the pro exhaust. The dealership is saying that the only parts of the kit for a 2020 MINI Cooper S is the pro exhaust only and the part number includes no badges, remap, or otherwise. So they still call it the JCW Tuning Kit in 2020 but it is essentially only the exhaust.

Has anyone gotten this installed on their 2020 Mini Cooper S and can let me know what is accurate on what is and is not included?

After doing some research this morning the part number you listed 18302475191 is for JCW built before July 2019 and Cooper S built after July 2019 and does NOT have the tune, it only has the exhaust. They must have changed something or it's emission regulations after that date. It's also called the JCW silencer system retrofit kit, NOT the JCW tuning kit. The instructions also do not show the JCW badge for the hatch or labels for under the hood as was supplied with the tuning kit.

I have the tuning kit on my car and it's great, I have the valve open all the time, disconnected the cable to the bluetooth controller. If you want more power wait for Dinan to update their "Elite" to work with the 2020 cars, I believe they are still testing it with the 2020's and not guarenteeing it will work and not providing a warranty if you put it on 2020's before it's ready.

The dealership keeps referring to this as the tuning kit when I had asked for info on a 2020 tuning kit, so this helps clarify what it really is and that it should be referred to as. Oddly when I searched the part number on Mini's site I came up blank but if I search "JCW Silencer System" I do get to that listing and it shows the exact part number. Appreciate you helping me solve the mystery.
