F56 bumper cover removal

Does anybody have anything posted on here about how to remove this bumper cover piece?51117337791
I know it’s a common problem that they fade. I’ve been thinking about replacing mine just wasn’t sure how much of a pain would be to take off. It looks like it just snaps off but I didn’t know if anybody had posted information on it.

You can look on realoem.com for parts diagram and fasteners if any or newtis.info should have removal info.

My biggest curiosity is to see if there’s a way to remove it without taking off the front bumper.

It's not that hard to remove the front bumper cover. Without any instructions, I just kept looking for bolts to remove and using a lot of tugging around to seek the next bolt point. One after another, you'll get to remove the front bumper. It helps with the fender wells off and the headlamps taken out first.

You need to remove the bumper. Don't try to shortcut it you'll just have a massive headache later and start kicking things.

Requirements for removing the front bumper panel you speak of:

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...per/1VnXvRnqQg

Click each individual link that is a prerequisite to getting that piece off. If you need help let me know.

I have taken the bumper off more times than I can remember to replace the front grill, various trim pieces to right PDC and park assist, and install oem led DRL fog lights.

OK I’ll do some research. It’s not a project that I have to do right away because my black section is just starting to change color now. But it is a project that I would like to do at some point.

Yeah I’m pretty sure today I have watched every single video on YouTube of somebody taking the bumper off. So that’ll probably be What I do.
