Union Jack Lights No Programming Required > $266 bucks

Hello Mini Fans -

Just installed my JDM 3D Optic Union Jack LED Rear Taillights. Paid $266 + shipping : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3299...40694c4dUU3pUT

Took about 10 minutes each to install: ( and yes the entire Union Jack lights up when you hit the brakes! )
Pry off chrome trim ring around light> remove the 3 torx screws > open hatch and remove inside access cover > reach inside and press two tabs to release light > disconnect cable > connect cable to new light > put light back > put three screws back > put trim ring back. Done.

No programming required. Here is a quick video of how it looks during the day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOos...ature=youtu.be
Note* everything is built into these lights. Just plug and play. No extra wires or components required. Perfect fit. No error messages on dashboard.

I will do a night video tonight when it gets dark.

It came from China and took two weeks. Two thumbs up.

Ordered these for $250, they came last night and got installed. Work amazing and look great, the turn indicator is the dynamic swiping Audi style.

If you sign up for a new account there are coupons around for $20-25 off your first order if you search around. Ended up getting mine for a total of $230 INCLUDING SHIPPING!

Holy super toasted cheese-its... this is pretty dang cool. You happen to get this one, and if so you have any installed pics to share?

I did the “clear/red” option. Some more daytime pics, albeit with rain!

Looks great!

Is the reverse light brighter than OEM?
Are these LED replaceable bulbs or soldered to a board?
Anyone have rear fogs coded as brake lights with these?

I don't have the same UJ tail lights but I have the Helix ones and i was able to successfully code the rear fogs to come on when braking.

Hi
Are these plug and play if the car has LED headlights but halogen rears? The questions on the listing shows the seller answering 1 person with "yes they need coding" and answering another with "no coding needed"?

Thanks

Saw this post and quickly jumped on it. This was exactly what I was looking for. Purchased the all red. Sadly I only got a coupon for 9 off for verifying email. Plans are to get the blacked out rings too. I’ll keep it on this thread the results. Fingers crossed, but feel a whole lot better knowing you guys went before me. Thanks I guess!

I bought them off Ebay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genui...72.m2749.l2649

I'm in UK so posting was within 3 days, seller may post overseas so worth asking
FYI the lights had a start price of £199 or make an offer, i offered £199 and he accepted so i didn't have to get in a bidding war, he sells lots of sets of these

I got mine from Aliexpress as well. My car doesn't have the LED headlight but the UJ tail lights were still plug and play and no coding or re-pin needed.

What is meant by the turn signals being a sweeping Audi style? I think I know what that might mean, but these turn signals appear to be simply a thin vertical (up-down) line of yellow/amber. I would think that a sweeping style would need a horizontal line. No?

Yeah it's the horizontal line. The old versions from Aliexpress, usually with the separate adaptor is like the UK version, the turn signals (horizontal amber line) only blinks. The new version has dynamic signals and even have pulsing tail lights when you unlock the car.
