Coolant/antifreeze level
Know when you go to the dealer for maintenance and they put 'Topped at Fluids' should that include the coolant/antifreeze level?
So I opened up the coolant/antifreeze reservoir and it's not near the min/max line. In fact its much lower. I did check after at least a 8 hour cool down. I do have a tune and it was like this before the tune also. Couldn't get a great shot cause I would have to remove the intake to see the whole tank.
Do I need to add more or am I ok the way it is?
The level I see from the angle I'm in.
Without the red line.
With flash to see that its below the min.
Without a flash.

My 2005 R52S is running hotter this year and I don't know why. It could be because I am just paranoid. My normal around town, including stop and go, is IA=100-120 w188=215. Now, stop/go/town is up to IA 115=165 w190=224 max. I made a dipstick for my tank so the level stays the same. Does anyone have any tips for lowering the temps? It seems that the mini engine is very heat sensitive. I am going to get the coolant flushed in Aug. He is also adding something to lower coolant temps. I don't remember the name but I read about on the Detroit Tuned website.
