As title states. How do I get permission to post in there.

Edit: I can't post in my specific thread. I can post in others.

I don't see anything locked so I don't know why you cannot.

OK, suggest you make another thread with the same topic and then I will merge the new one with the old one. Do it here in this section.

Where cannot you not create a new thread, across the board or only the FAQ?

Same here:

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

The manner in which the FAQ sections are set up should be that only a Moderator can start a new thread whereas any member should be able to post in an existing thread. Can I get somebody to attempt to make a post in the Union Jack Taillights thread?

Nope,

I am not able to.

Since I can reply to all other FAQ threads,I think instead of playing around with all this, can we just make a new thread in the FAQ section where we just put the coding that actually works in one or two posts and then maybe a 3rd with Pictures?

I don't mind writing it up and giving it to an admin for them to (review and) post. However, it may take me till the weekend?
