yes
i have it on my car, which came with JCW badges so I liked the red stripe and added the JCW grill without being too big of a poser. See my pictures in your post about you getting the 2018 Carbon Edition, mine is a 2016 model.

Yes...

If you like the red grille stripe, you could have it wrapped. Just make sure you choose a "red" that matches the Chili Red of the JCW should you decide to add more red accents to the car.

I had mine wrapped and it looked fine until I had my brake ducts painted Chili Red through my dealer. Then the grille stripe looked too orange in comparison. Wound up trying to get the cross piece pulled off and painted, but destroyed the grille in the process. So I replaced w/ a JCW grille

This is something I want to add to my car, but Im curious, are the badges glued on? I do NOT want an S or JCW badge on my car, as it is a base. Also, I dont want people to think its something that it is not; plus I like the badge-less look.

It's actually molded into the grill.

So, it is molded into the grill, but the badge itself can very easily be removed via the threaded nuts on the inside of the grill. I used one of the go badges to cover up the portion of the grill where the badge went (it is slightly recessed and flat as opposed to the rest of the grill texture). It looks great overall and isn't very noticeable at all. It is if you are being very nit-picky about it, but the overall change was way worth it compared to the Justa grill.

Most people have been doing it.

You can see the threaded nut but you will have a little surfboard outline.
