Pedal Question - Gas, Brake, and Dead
Hi all - been years since I've been on the forum! I purchased an 05 Cooper S brand new back in the day and have driven it ever since - love my Mini. Anyhow as of two days ago I'm now the proud owner of a 2018 Cooper S and have a question about the pedals.
So on my 05, the pedals were stainless - which I loved, always though they looked and felt great. On my '18, they are rubber? Are the stainless now an upgrade?
I picked up the '18 used with 2k miles on it, so I didn't order new this time, so not sure if that's a difference.
I've seen these on Amazon - any experience?

With the F56, you have to get the JCW interior in order to get the stainless pedals. Otherwise, you get the plain rubber ones. The swap is extremely simple and takes less than ten minutes for all of the pedals. You can get them from ECS Tuning or you can even find them used through Allmag Auto Parts. Ust so you know, all years of MINIs, from first gen through third gen, use the same pedals.
