F55/F56 2014 Front Rotors 5-Lug vs 4-Lug

2014 Front Rotors 5-Lug vs 4-Lug

Hello All,

I'm looking for help I need to change my front rotors so i went to the store and I bought them took them home started the job opened the box for the rotors to notice that the rotors I was told I needed only have 4 Lugs how ever my tire an rotor on the car is a 5 lug no problem i thought i will just go back nope everything they has says it should be 4 lug i have tried everything i can think of including contacting mini and my dealership and nothing from them. Any help would be amazing thanks everyone

Not trying to be a jerk ............ but.....

If your rotors on your car are 5 lugs then its pretty obvious the 4 lugged ones are wrong. Take them back and go to a store that knows what they are talking about.

Better yet, reach out to ECS on here and let them get the right parts for you.

If you have an F56/55 series car it is 5 lug x 112. Many auto parts stores have databases that show 2014 MINIs as being R series cars with different lugs and spacing.

Your not being a Jerk at all, I feel foolish about posting about something simple as finding rotors but I have exhausted all most every avenue i know (all come in with the same answer) but I will give ECS a shot thank you

They will take care of you! They are a great company to work with. I buy 90% of my stuff from them

I usually tells parts counter people that my 2014 is a 2015 for this reason. A lot of the parts systems aren't correctly updated.

They may have it listed as a cross over year in the parts catalog, I just looked it up in our parts express system and it in fact does show 4 lug on the 2014.

You are probably best to call yours a 2015 when you need parts.

Except if it relates to the different engine as some parts aren't going to be the same for both years.
