Those are new ( 63122361243 ) and follow the same system as the R56 -R61 DRL , but in F56/ F55 version. very popular for the Gen 2 MINI version. Super bright and the DRL ring seems brighter ( more blue / purple) in the retrofit kit them the factory ordered LED kit.

Thanks for the reply and for the video.
I have the LED headlights.... will they cancel out the DRL Omega rings or will I have 2 sets of DRLs? Thanks again
It would take coding for them to work with the factory LED DRL Fogs, plus it would take the place of the the factory fog leds that you have. No one i know has done this yet to mod it.

Hmm, I'll have to ask the dealer.... It would look great to have the headlight DRLs and the fog DRLs at the same time.
Dealer might not know either as this is so new. Also the drl code SA520 will be on so with this kit the code will have to feed the Omega lights also. Good luck, thats what i have so far.
Anyone have access to the installation instructions for the new Gen3 LED DRL? I bought a set, but of course, no instructions. It should be an easy install, but there is a bit of wiring to be done to the existing connectors, so the instructions would be a great help.
I finally got around to doing the install of these and they look great! I did manage to get the installation instructions from the dealer, though you really don't need them. The procedure is simply disconnect all the wires from the existing lamps through the access hole, then remove the front bumper, which is easy. Then pop the old lamps out and put the new ones in, cut off all the old connectors and butt join like colored wires on the new connectors to the old wires, each is a different color/stripe. The kit does provide heat shrink tubing to go over the butt joins, but beware, the tubing is thick and requires a proper shop heat gun, a hair dryer doesn't do a good job on these. If that is all you have, you may want to get some thinner tubing at the hardware store.
Also, contrary to what some retailers have on their websites, there is coding involved. You have to disable the bulb checks or else you will get check codes.
Using ESYS, I coded the Daytime running lights, fog lights and parking lights to LED, and turned off the cold and warm bulb checks.
In the BDC Module, section 3060:

I while I was in there, I also coded the fogs to stay on with the high beams
NSW_AUS_BEI_FL - change to nicht_aktiv
Also of note, if you do the coding while you have a bulb check warning, the warning will not be cleared, since the checks have now been turned off so there is nothing to change it. It will be reset once the ECU goes to sleep, so just leave the car off for a while.
I dont know if they would work as it pulls drl function. You could give it a shot then try to work around it. I dont know anyone that has tested it with LED headlights. Thats just what MINI states.

It'd be a pretty expansive gamble.
All I'm really looking for is an OEM set of fog lights. But Mini's site doesn't list them.
Does any of the 2019 Mini's come with the halo/LED lighting and fog lights? Or is it one or the other? I just like the look of having fog lights on w/ the headlights.
