To Scuttle or not to Scuttle?

I have decided to put the black & grey checkered mirror covers on my Moonwalk Grey Metallic F56 MCS. I am unsure if I should also add the matching scuttles. I have seen both accessories held up to my car and they both look great with my body color.

I am certain about the mirror covers but not about the scuttles. I would appreciate your opinion.

Scuttle, but use double sided tape rather than adhesive.

Depends on how ocd you are since the gray is a different shade.

Love your colour scheme. I personally prefer the subtlety of just the mirrors. Much more sophisticated.

How about a test - scuttle on driver's side only? After a month, make your final decision.

Thanks to everyone for your replies. The mirror covers and the scuttles have been ordered. I will install the mirror covers first and then see if I like the scuttles on the car without actually installing them with 3M tape.

Good choice, Still debating on scuttles for mine. Thinking of having a local window tinter (who also does graphics for cars) do a custom scuttle for ours.

He's doing a matte black check pattern designed (see pic below) for us for our rear quarter panel to sweep up and over the rear wheel and some additional hood (bonnet) and grille red striping ala JCW.

Our car is a thunder gray so the black matte checker pattern will be pretty subtle, I may have him do a scuttle in matte black/clear check pattern color for the scuttle to carry over the side design. I do like it on the lighter gray a lot.

Lots of Tattoo options available for our little cars.

I'm going with the JCW Pro scuttles and mirrors on my Thunder Grey car. Since a Tahoe bashed my front end, I'm also going with the red stripe JCW grill.

See the flashing bit of plastic around the side marker lights in post #1.

I'm a little late but my choice would be neither, but would have done sport stripes and a Blackjack roof

As a follow up to this thread I decided to Scuttle. I decided to have the dealership install them with betalink, since I tend to honor the 3 times rule on most projects (3rd time before I get it right). Installing them myself using the 3M tape didn't seem like the best idea since the 3 time rule was not an option. Here are the results. Big thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread.

I like the scuttles. The checkered gray looks great on the Moonwalk.
