Waddaya think about these?

Called Rimblades, via the GoBadges website. They took about an hour to install, including cleaning the wheels. Not hard at all. I like 'em!

So far. I just put em on Saturday. You can tell they're plastic, they just cup the edge of the rim. After cleaning you wipe on the "primer" which has some adhesive in it, and peel back the 3m adhesive cover and press them on. I like the look, and they only cost $50. We'll see what happens with rain, washes, etc.

Not that different than my JCW wheels, black horseshoes more or less. With a red rim added for $50!

Would be nice if they had more colors. My wife wants florescent green and I'd be looking for orange. But they look pretty slick.

I'm curious more from a practical standpoint. I'm wondering if they could potentially protect the wheel from a sloppy parallel parking attempt.

That's actually how they are advertised on rimblades site! I put mine on last week end. Easy-peasy. Took time to clean the back of my wheels and rotate them for the first time, but not much work for the rimblades, and they do come in green and orange too. Check their site. Other pix in my gallery.

I tried them on my Mini a few months back, wasn't into the look personally. I took them off after doing the one side.

Looks better on yours then it did on mine.

this was the outcome.
