In my experience, the mileage tends to get better after the break-in period as well.

I agree with Siriuszero. My 2007 and 2010 MCS both had better gas mileages after the first three months or so of driving.

Try resetting the counters and see if your mileage go up as well. After all, the first 10-15 miles of it's life were quick little spurts, but your car still uses those miles when calculating the mpg.

To reset, press BC until the avg mpg (or avg speed too) is on the display, then press and hold the BC button until it resets.

Plenty left in the tank
No green mode employed

This is me Eco driving to the max indicated speed of 75 mph to see what's possible, from a nearly new car
Getting much more than 50 mpg is no fun, but 500+ from a tank looks achievable

I might repeat again in July if I get the chance, and can be bothered

Ps car is full fat spec with leather, aircon, sunroof, 18" wheels etc

Well the maths works to within .2 mpg in England, and that could be down to which pump double clicks 1st on a fill up to brim

55 mpg seems to be possible with mixed motoring
I got to 513 miles with an indicated 13 miles of range before refilling
