F55/F56 Berger stage 1 Beta...Oh He'll Yeah
download to your laptop jb4 then plug into stage1 on your car and get connected then change parameters.
EDIT: I see that they are firmware. Do I need them? I have the B48 if that makes any difference...
Ok, so it has to be plugged into the car first, gotcha. What are the hex files? Do I need them? Under SETTINGS on the right side of the screen it says "E Series - N54" in the dropdown menu there is an option "F Series All" do I select that or does that not matter?

I lied I have the B46, is firmware still needed?
+1 to the less complicated mods
Do you have B46 or B48?
Is the N20/N24 under the settings tab? I'm still not entire sure what you're talking about. I'm on the Juice Box 4 Performance Tuner screen.
I'll email Terry if B46 needs firmware or nah.

i do miss the sporty feel of my mini. test drove a jcw tonite. it felt like a turd compared to my cooper s with +7 psi and good fuel!
i had the b46 yes its in the settings tab. im not sure it matters sorry im not computer competent. terry got tired of dealing with me i think. now i can drive a couple miles and get custom dyno tuning in my mustang.
True, custom dyno tuning would probably yield better performance all around. No worries, I guess it's just my run to bother Terry now...
do you have the cable to hook the stage1 to your laptop? plug it in and see what happens. it will either connect or it wont. i had trouble figuring out the rite com port to be plugged into.
Boost safety is set at 6.0?
Default Wastegate pos 2?
Fuel open loop is set to 25?
When I try to change it and save it, it displays "settings saved!" and it just reverts back to these settings...
I did and it is right now. It's not plugged into the car though, not sure if that makes a difference...?

in response to earlier question, map_1 is an old updated. map_4 is the latest. it fixes issues some people had with the TMAP sensor. you will want to do map_4...but...note that if you are running an old circuitboard, map_1 and map_4 will fail. which means you'll need to ship it back to burger and they'll send you a new circuitboard. but if you're gonna do that, then sh*t, might as well just get the JB4

Edit: you mean the hex firmware files?
i mean that if you want to use map_1 or map_4, you should be sure that you're not on an old circuitboard or else you'll brick it. how do you make sure? take picture and send to terry.

disregard maps 0-7. thats for the JB4. i'm referring to those 2 hex files. both require a newer circuitboard. since i bought it very very early i had an old circuitboard. when i upgraded to _1.hex, it bricked. had to send it in to get a newer/updated circuitboard.

if you are on _1 then _4 will also work. that fixes a bug that will trigger a drive malfunction when the TMAP bypass is plugged in.

it's been a long day lol
