if your'e happy now great, but if you feel there is an issue, your best bet is to pull logs and send to Terry. He'll see what values you're pulling and recommend changes. with the stage 1, he's said himself that many cars can have different readings. even on the JB4 hes' still waiting on logs. i'm hoping this week i'll be able to deliver that to him so he can continue to modify the settings accordingly
JB4 is more challenging as you need to poke a hole to snake the OBD2 cable inside the car.
let me/us know any issues and we'll help out.
Step 1, the first picture shows what it looks like after removing the two bolts and air duct? I think the second picture shows which bolts to look for and the first picture shows what it will look like after removing those two bolts?
MAP work is easy.
Are there two TMAPs as I can see there are two red circles? I see there are two rainbow plugs. Use the same way as the brown plugs? But from the picture, those two red circles are far from each other.
facing the car, the MAP sensor is on the left and TMAP on the right.
page1 - car with air duct in place. remove 2 screws
page2, picture 2- 2 circles depict where the screws were (note: if you look above the 1st circle, there's your MAP sensor
page2, picture 2 - close up of map sensor. unplug and put the bypass in place.
page3, picture 2 - lower circle is the placement of the TMAP sensor. this is AFTER you've already unplugged it and put the bypass i place. the 2nd (upper) circle is the other half of the bypassed TMAP sensor. if you look closely, both circle have wires that join at the 3-way intersection of wires. that's the burger tune wiring harness.

i think you're not understanding what the burger tuning kit does.
when you unplug the MAP sensor plug, you have a MAP male plug and a MAP female plug. the burger tune harness has the same thing. plug your MAP male to the Burger MAP female and the MAP female to the Burger MAP male.
do the same for TMAP. so yes, your 1 MAP sensor turns into "2" because the Burger is plugged in. same for the TMAP.
just buy it and you'll understand. again...this is a 10 minute install...probably 5 minutes.

The most confusing part for me was on page 3, there are two circles, which is why I thought there were two TMAP sensors. But from your explanations, looks like one circle is the original TMAP sensor plug, the other circle is the bypass plug? Basically, all the work is about bypassing the MAP and TMAP sensors?
When you want to go higher in boost, you add the flex fuel adapter.. The flex fuel adapter taps into the fuel rail.
And then the jb4 adds an obd2 port to all the above.
Thanks for all the explanations! I will try stage 1 next month. :-p
my opinion: why it says beta is beyond me. probably because there will always be continued tweaking. like i said in another thread, terry provides a good amount of support and the active forum helps other users make tweaks to their unit.

I wasn't overly thrilled with the support. I got more help on forums from knowledgeable members. Don't rely on Terry's help. If you buy and plug and play then you shouldn't have an issue but it's when you start changing stuff that you go into uncharted territory. Everyone can always offer an opinion but nothing is ever perfect lol.
