Hi all,

2022 F60, I was able to code the following:

- Handle Lights On with reverse
- Fogs on with HB
- Declaimer removed
- Auto Fold Mirrors when closing and opening
- Removed fake engine sound

Questions:

- Tire temperature wont show, even after coding a few times. Any ideas?
- If I add blinkers to the HUD , would it auto remove anything? I know if I add JCW sport display to the HUD then the GPS wont show during navigation.

I don't think anyone here had been able to get the turn signal green arrows to show up in their head-up displays... I wish we could, it would be one little extra bit of MINI-awesomeness. As for the tire temps, I got it to display on my tire pressure screen on my 2016 F56 base Cooper... I keep a running text file in my cloud storage of all the coding changes I have made to my MINI and for the tire temp I only have this wrote down:

Display Tire Pressure & Temperature in Vehicle Info: 3001 RDC_SAFETY = aktiv

So that must be what worked for me on that.

I also added the JCW sport display option and it only comes on if you are in SPORT mode so if you are in GREEN or MID you will still have the navigation on your HUD and if you go from sport back to mid or green the JCW display goes away and the turn by turn navigation will reappear.

 

In old NBT or entrynav HU, temperature can show on.

For JCW sport display, you can code to show on any mode and also gear

The directions I followed and wrote down on my running log of coding changes are as follows:

JCW in Head up display in sport mode:

go in to expert mode in both the HUD and KOMBI ECUs and enable the following: (All to “aktiv”)

HU_NBT > EXPERT MODE >

HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_ENABLE, HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_FES_ENABLE, and HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_MS_GASSE_ENABLE to AKTIV.

Code vehicle then...

KOMBI > EXPERT MODE >

FZG_Aussttang,HUD _SPORTANZEIGE_ENABLE, HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_FES_ENABLE, and HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_MS_GASSE_ENABLE to AKTIV.

----HUD_FAHRSTUFE_ENABLE*

Code vehicle again.

-On center instrument Go to SETTINGS --> HEAD UP DISPLAY --> DISPLAYED INFORMATION: make sure SPORTS DISPLAYS is checked and at least "In SPORT Mode" is checked as well. Sports Displays only work in SPORT.

I cannot find that anywhere on the app, I am using Bimmercode's latest app.

Any ideas?

 

Not that it would be the most helpful advice but all I could suggest is what I would do if it were me doing the coding which is 'look again' . I know on some of the menus on Bimmercode in expert mode there are like 300+ different things that all look very similar in weird German-speak in an endless list... I would just start over and carefully and slowly scroll through everything under the KOMBI menu... or maybe the JCW sport display works without it (doubtful but possible?). I know sometimes I have had to sit in my car with my iPad for 20+minutes scrolling and scrolling to find one single option buried in there somewhere...

 

So, I emailed Bimmercode support and they told me those settings are not available or supported right now.

here is their reply:

”Hi,
this would be available in the instrument cluster, but the one in your car is not supported unfortuantely.”

If "HEAD_UNIT" doesn't show up in your list of settings in the Bimmercode app, it could be because you have a "Basic Infotainment System" (BIS). This is what my MINI has and I don't even see Head_Unit in BC.

No, I have a fully loaded F60 with all extras.
Bimmercode just does not offer that coding for the new Mini Head units.
I contacted another company who can do the codding remotely but I need to buy a cable. I will try to get the cable and get that code in unless you guys have any other idea?

 

So if one buys a new model MINI Bimmercode becomes useless? :-(

 

Not unless as most of the coding works, but anything under instrument cluster is gone till they release an update that regain access to that section.

On my F56 I had a code that would allow the fogs to turn on with the Auto Light Sensor, does anyone know the code so I can do it on the F60? I honestly forgot :(.

Uninstall and install multiple times ... Esys 3.27.1 and Prolauncher 2.8.2 BFU_XODE edition


when I open prolauncher, "date incorrect or date manipulation detected" error

when i change the date it works, but the token expires in 04/2020 error

when I change the date to 04/2020 "ONLY v2 EST files accepted" error


I will try tomorrow to clean all my disk ... Have you got any idea? I have the correct version of esys? Do you also use these versions?


I already have the obd cable and everything I need for the retrofit, I'm losing hope lol

Hello everyone, I need your help, I'm new to coding. I am looking for a code to let the daytime running lights ring light up in position lights mode. because when I put the position lights, the ring goes out and instead I have a small LED light up in the anti fog lamp. on the jcw model it works like this. thanks in advance friends.

 

The DRL option should be checked on in your instrument panel settings.
Thas how mine works, if DRL option is off, then the ring goes off in position (parking in the US) mode.

 

Does anyone know if BimmerCode allows you to turn on parking lines, contract and brightness in the rear camera mode options?

My 2022 F56 SE had the options but are non selectable. I turned on the trailer hitch zoom option with BimmerCode and it shows the option but also grayed out along with the other 3 options.
