iPhone 6 Phone Call Problem

Has anyone had a problem when placing a phone call in their F56 with an iPhone 6/6+ where it shows the source to be through Bluetooth in the Mini, but you can't hear anyone or say anything? If you switch the source to the iPhone itself you can talk just fine. Bluetooth streams music from the phone just fine, I just can't use my phone, as a phone, over Bluetooth. It worked with my iPhone 5. I've tried this in my F56 and the current F56 I have a loaner.

I am experiencing this, too. Phone rings and I can answer but I have to talk/listen through the handset. It is a known issue with iOS 8. More info at: http://www.macrumors.com/2014/10/01/...tivity-issues/

The article states that beta testers of 8.1 are not experiencing the issue.

Mine was working fine on 8.0 but now 8.0.2 it hardly ever connects to the car. Today I had to remove it from the MINI, reset the phone, and add the phone back. Hopefully Apple releases an update to us non-beta folks soon!

Edit.. just read this: http://www.cultofmac.com/298280/fix-...s-8-0-2-broke/ as a possible fix until Apple releases the next update.

Hmmm. I haven't yet connected my iPhone 6. Today or tomorrow I will delete my old iPhone 5S from my Mini and connect my iPhone 6. I'll report back how it goes.

I was having the same issue with my iPhone 6. For some reason this happens when I answer a call through the phone. When I answer a call through the Mini everything works fine. I have a basic radio if that helps.

Does anyone know if Mini has any intentions in working with Apple to fix the office feature for email messages and text messages on the Mini Connected compatibility?

I can get text messages on my iPhone 4S through Mini Connected, but not emails or anything from Facebook or Twitter

I have zero issues with my iPhone 6, but I have never been able to have text messages displayed, either with my 5 or now with my 6.

I originally did have some issues with being unable to hang-up calls or stream, but somehow they went away. Works reliably every time. I'm on 8.0.2.

I have never lost connectivity with either phone.

I'm having the same issues with my iPod/Bluetooth setup. Today, I tried it on my Garmin nüvi just to see if it was my car, and it's not. It's something in the phone. I'm a dev, so I'm curious about downloading iOS 8.1 to see how it fixes things.
