Anyone else got the $100 gift postcard from MINI as a token of appreciation for their potential gear shift **** issue? If so what do you plan to get from the website?

Also, a friend of a friend received a mini branded folding bike for the recalls. Not sure if it was from the dealer or miniusa. Anybody else receive a bike? Those sell for almost $600 in the mini accessories catalog.

 

Has been reported to fall off in your hard when "spirited driving" is taking place.

 

I assume you are talking about this. Only seems to affect manuals

I used mine to buy another shift **** that doesn't come off in my hand.

I received mine today, and ordered rubber mats. Called to make an appointment, and the service department hadn't heard a thing, and had no replacement parts. One thing MINI does NOT do well (besides *****) is communicate well.

 

Got mine today. Funny I was in last week for a broken shifter retaining ring. Little piece of cheap plastic that keeps the shifter in place. Mini only provides the whole assembly. EVERYTHING FROM CABLES TO THE SHIFTER ROD. I just ordered the craven speed retainer that's 3d printed

Thinking of getting the compartment tray but i can't tell if it comes with the lid in photo. If it doesn't then that's alot of money for a tray! BTW I had changed my **** to a Whalen model and love it.

 

Got my gift card today. Went with the rear comparment mat and a nifty Mini shoulder bag for laptop. Hopefully my shifter **** doesn't pop off one day.

Yep. got one in the mail too. I haven't had any issues with the gearshift ****.

I bought my Mini S Manual back in July 20, and i have yet to receive a $100 Gift card.
Who do i need to reach out to for 1 of these bad boy?

 

I'd give it a week. Your dealing with snail mail.

WOW! I hadn't heard about this. Guess I'd better see if my 2014 JCW Paceman All4 qualifies.

You know, this BMW/MINI shift **** complaint goes back at least to the mid-1980's..

 

I picked up my Mini on May 10th and just got mine yesterday, so I'd say be patient they're in process.

But Schomp doesn't have the ~$500 dealer handling fees that MINI of Loveland has.
