Finally got it done. I am not thrilled with the mirror caps at all, I wanted them just done in plain white, but the guy had a really difficult time getting the white vinyl to set cleanly in one sheet, so the striping was his compromise. I am living with it for the moment, but it is already showing signs of puckering and pulling away, and I think I will eventually just remove it and then break down and get the Black Jack mirror caps.

The roof is done is a satin pearl, which is the same on the mirror caps. It looks very nice, a warm white. I also had the windows tinted 35%.

The first pics are taken at night and don't do the color justice. They had just finished applying the vinyl and the car was filthy :( The last pic is more true to color for the hot pink. The hot pink is a nice deep hot pink, and the white is a rich pearly white. I really like the entire color combo.

that's fantastic. :D i normally don't care much for the grey/silver/gold cars (too boring), but what you've done with the pink and white makes it really stand out!

 

WELL done! I love the color combo and custom stripes. If there is a way to maintain/keep the mirror stripes, I would do it. I think going with the Black Jack on the mirrors will upset the overall blending of colors. JMO. I just think the stripes on the mirrors nicely compliment the body stripes. If you really want just white mirror caps, why not have them custom painted to match the other pearl white?

No, on the white gas door, Yes, to painting the mirror caps, LOVE the pink stripes on the caps. Your car looks absolutly FANTASTIC! Not a fan of pink, but what you did really sets your car apart and just really is beautiful .Get the gas door painted too, but also have the pink stripes re-applied to the mirrors once they are painted. WELL DONE!

I agree on the gas door, it should be body colored for sure.

The mirror caps are too complex of a shape to wrap in vinyl unfortunately. When we did them on my R56 they didn't hold up well. If it were me, I would remove the vinyl and spray them with matte white plasti-dip (or have them painted pink).

 

WOW! That is one of the most striking (in a good way) color schemes I have ever seen. What a wonderful look! Congratulations!

The idea of the white gas cap was kinda like when people put the union jack or black jack over it, but the white is little too stark. I don't mind it, but it needs...something.

I like the idea of painting the caps in a pearl white, and I have a sheet left over of the pink vinyl that is large enough to make stripes from, so maybe that's where I go with it.

I'm very happy with the striping and the white roof, and yes, it really does set the Batty apart and get noticed

 

Stick with just the stripes down the middle and leave the rest alone. I like it.

 

Ok completely Batty BadA$$. Love it. Paint the mirror caps and have your Batty logo made for the fuel filler door
