Just calls attention to the fact that it's fake. If the part that's grey were red and the part that's red were still black, I think it would look sharp.

I like the fact that it matches your mirrors.

HA! that was kinda my view on it. get some color matching going with the car... just like if i had gone with white mirror caps, a white hood scoop grill would look good (IMO)...but hey, everyone's got their own taste.

i still like how it looks.

When I first saw it, that is exactly what I was thinking.

Very nice....the stock red Plasti Dip matches well with the JCW Pro mirror caps.

I like the Glowing Red interior color line, too (have that in my Blazin' Red Hardtop).

Red bread,

I was in the dealership today and saw carbon fiber hood scoop parts. The first thing I thought was that it would make the thing that does nothing, continue to do nothing, but people might notice it more and like how much better it was at doing nothing.

The scoop on my '04 actually fed the supercharger... I have no idea why this fake scoop persists in the turbo designs... They might as well add a fake crank to the bumper, they looked cool on the model T...

Love it! Any broken clips, or did it come off okay?

I think the scoop mod is a nice touch, especially with the black paint.

I have the red interior colorline as well, but mine is a dull flat red. I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't pop like in the brochures. But then I see this one and it looks electric! What's the deal? Anyone else have a flat line red? Is there anything I can put on there to liven it up?

mine is the same red color line as yours...nothing special here. the picture prolly had a glare from the sun so that's why it shows up brighter. otherwise, i use vinylex on my interior and it gives the entire dash a strong lustrous look.
