Dealers in IL/WI?

I've just started emailing dealers about a new Mini Hardtop, and I wanted to know if anyone has any dealers in the Illinois/Wisconsin area they highly recommend and that are good to work with, or, on the flipside, any to avoid?

Thanks,
Heif

I went through MINI Of The Fox Valley. I ordered an F56 S with a ton of options. They forgot to put comfort access and turning headlights on the car, then upon receiving the car, forgot to order and put driving lights on my car. Now that the driving lights have been installed (free of charge). Neither set of fog lights work and it is back in the shop.
BUT, the people here are very accommodating and helpful. They are also very active with our local club and even hosted a baseball outing yesterday where all the club members got to drive around the field during 7th inning.

Long story short: great people great dealership but.... Double and triple check every damn thing on your order, if they pencil in an option on their build sheet have them rebuild the car... Every option they forgot was penciled in.

International mini in Milwaukee was rude to me when I was there so they did not get consideration from me.

I went to "MINI of the Valley" in Appleton WI. They were okay in regards to the purchase process. I don't want to say that I would highly recommend them and the reason is that they really did not go above and beyond in regards to anything. I ordered the car, it came in and they had me out the door. I did get two free t-shirts that was nice.

Since I have (knock on wood) not had any issues in regards to having to take my car in I would say overall they are an okay place to go. Not the best but not the worst either.

Jordan was my BM and she gave me a shirt for myself and one for my Husband. I am sad you did not get one? Maybe they ran out as I got my car way before you did? Sad day!

We picked up our F56 at MINI of Madison. Kyle Fetters was our salesman, super easy to deal with, handled most everything through email and phone. Only thing I would say is do not have them prep the car. We saw holograms and swirl marks as soon as I first rinsed the car off. I typically try to not have a dealer prep my cars paint but this was on the lot...other than that transaction was great.

Tganci,

Thanks! One of the minis I have my eye on is actually located at Madison, and I just started emailing with Kyle. Since I live right over the border in IL, I really want to get things handled through email as much as possible. Thanks, also, for the tip on prep.
