Ok got the app working today...sorta. Can't seem to get it to show the video in the dash it just shows the GoPro logo. You can control the camera but they showed you could see the streaming video. Anyone had luck with it? I'm wondering if it's my phone.

 

Likely something you've already checked, but the MINI page says it has to be a GoPro Hero3+ for video preview.

Not sure what model you have.

I got preview to work by having the GoPro app on the phone running and showing the preview before I connected it to the car.

Well hell..,wonder what I'm doing wrong? It might be my phone I'm using a iPhone 4 not the "S" only thing I can think. And I'm connected using the iPhone cable.

 

It does say right in the link you provided that it'll work "...provided you’ve got a GoPro Hero3+ model and iPhone 4s (or newer)."

Sounds like your phone isn't new enough? The S has a generation higher processor, its a big step up from the 4, a lot of newer apps are using the 4S as the cut off.
