Looks like R99 will have to be our guinea pig for now
from KW
from KW
Jason,
Thank you for contacting KW North America.
At the moment we are doing testing in Germany and nothing is released as of yet in the US.
ETA on kits should be 2-3 months out.
Thank you.

Jason,
Yes overseas they might be available unfortunately we do not look into that since we have to do testing in the states to verify fitment.
The lead time is what I got from Germany and our R&D team.
I hope this information helps and have a good day.

Unless there's a difference in the suspension between a UK spec car and a US spec car you could probably just order it from the UK and pay a little extra for shipping.

Will this work?
Will this work?
I believe those are the same things here and they are for the certain Gen 2 MINIs
I show H&R 50456 for R55 Cooper Clubman , JCW ; R57 Cooper , Cooper S ; R56 JCW and R58 / R59 models.
Street Performance Coilovers H&R 50456
http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/50456/ES1303584/
, NOT gen 3 F56 MINIs. Also the rear springs are separate on the struts, not springs and rear strut together, check the rear of your F56 out.
When the KW's are officially releases for the US, we will let you guys know.
Thanks

I thought about that, have a feeling the Uk price is going to be a lot higher than ours though. I guess we will see. Maybe some of our UK members can help us out haha
Good news for the US market. Spoke with NM engineering today. Ordered a set of wheels from them and they also notified me that they have come out with their own set of lowering springs. state the lowering is a little more than the h&r's. They are still in process but they shipped me a set since they need them installed on some more cars.
Bad news is I have some H&R's coming my way that I will now need to get rid of (If I cant just return them)
Also, they state bilstein USA is in process of making a kit, sounds like it will be available much sooner than KW.
They also mentioned making a sway bar, as well as intake kit for our cars.

KW are available!!!!
Why don't one of you US guys email export@KWautomotive.de
I cannot understand why they are not going to ship them out to you. My bet is that KW USA are in the dark.
The only reason I am managing to order mine is because I saw on a German F56 forum an official announcement from KW Germany. KW UK denied all knowledge just like the problem you guys are facing.
My resolution was to cut out the middle guy and get is straight from the horses mouth! Them I asked them to clear up the situation with KW UK so I could order.

I called them again yesterday. They said that they are about 4 months out on even TESTING them on some USA cars. And they have to test fit them on US spec cars before they can sell them. Not sure what this big delay is... I honestly think be then we will have other options.
Hi Vic- how was the alignment afterwards? Did the shop give you the camber spec?
Anyone see info on how stiff the H&R, K&W, or NM sport springs might be, vs. stock? Or is there conventional wisdom on this? I love the feel of my OE sport suspension, but wish it was like 1" lower =) Maybe aftermarket "sport" springs come out to be pretty similar to the OE sport kit...

I will hopefully have the NM sport springs on my car by the end of next week, along with new wheels. I will post up pictures of how it all looks. According to them the drop is slightly more than the H&R springs. Sounded like it was about a 1.3 inch drop where as the H&R's are about a 1 inch drop.
Damn it. Got excited when I saw Bilstein coilovers on the NM site, then I realized they show all the R56 stuff when you choose the F56.

How much would you want for the springs shipped to 97060? And were they ever installed? Thanks

WTF I keep trying to order them and they keep insisting that they're still months away. How did you manage to get the order placed?
$995 shipped.
Call up DWS parts and tell then Daniel sent you they know what part numbers to order. I also confirmed this from BC themselves.
Had BC coilovers on my s2000 and have nothing but positive to say. Ride was great, handling was as well. No issues to speak up with them.
DWS parts
Www.dwsparts.com
972.677.7604
They say 2 to 3 weeks on shipping. Also saw a set on ebay as well.
Part numbers t-05 for non DDC
And t-04 for DDC cars.
Not sure how low These go but in my experience with BC they probably go from near stock height to slammed to the ground.
